NCAA Football has delayed my inFamous gaming a bit as I'm still under 60% done and have just opened the third island. The next main mission is #26 out of 33 so I still have a ways to go. Sometimes I wish this game wasn't as long.

I wish Cole and myself were connected by the brain... he reaches and grabs and tries to land on stuff that I do NOT want him to land on lmaohttp://www.myspace.com/phillthegenesis

LOL! I say the same thing sometimes. It just drives me nuts how he grabs onto any object remotely near him............but it could be worse I guess.Comment

So far, I've found the controls to be quite fluid, but I suppose I'm not all that far into the game yet.Green Bay Packers | Milwaukee Brewers | Bradley Braves | Wisconsin Badgers

For me the only time the controls get annoying is when you are trying to walk on a skinny platform and Cole just hanges onto stuff instead.
I have to find about 70 more shards and 3 or 4 more dead drops and then I'll be done with good Cole. Once I start my Evil Cole playthrough, the only trophies I'll have left are evil related ones, the bio-leech one, and beating the game on hard.

Anybody managed to beat one of the side missions where you have to follow the courier? I can never do it without being spotted.Green Bay Packers | Milwaukee Brewers | Bradley Braves | Wisconsin Badgers

Just like Kevin said, get on the rooftops. Plus, the courier always takes the same route so learn where he goes and as you redo it, you will have a good idea as to what roofs to use and where to go.Comment

Re: Infamous (by Sucker Punch) PS3
Got my first full day of Infamous in yesterday. I'm a few missions into Warren.
I like the game a lot, but I liked it the first time when it was called Assassin's Creed. I am shocked that more people haven't made the comparison. The format is so close that this could have been the perceived present day sequel to the AC series. There are some obvious differences, but overall they feel very similar to me. I'm enjoying it, and I do wish it was released on the 360, but I think this will be a one-time-through just like AC was. Get the badguys, bea hero to the people and on to the next adventure.
This game made the same mistake that AC made in that it doesn't give you a real city. True free roamers, like Saint's Row and GTA allow you to have a small life outside of the main story. In this game I miss it even more because I'm literally bringing the city back to life, so it'd be nice to be a part of the community I'm saving besides having people take pictures of me.Comment

As far as the city, I thought it was decent. Played it on on good and evil and the differences were minor except the fact that you mentioned, pictures for good and getting rocks thrown for evil. Getting rocks thrown is a nice tough but I wouldn't throw a rock at a dude with powers like that. I still thought it was better than GTA as people didn't really even notice you.Comment

Best Buy Canada put on the inFamous sale from June 30th to July 2nd only. It's just a 3 day sale and most stores in Canada (including Future Shop and EB Games) are price matching during this period. Tomorrow is your last day to get in on the deal and then it jumps back up to C$69.99.
I have two story missions left to do. Almost done this thing. I have all the dead drops and all side missions done at this point although I expect another to pop up. I don't have the hidden mission on the 2nd island done.Comment
