Re: Crackdown 2
The problem I have with this title is the same problem I have with other exclusive titles on the 360. They are not as stellar as they should be. Microsoft is in the business of making money, but a great title or two should really be at the forefront also. I'm starting to get irritated with the lackluster performance that these games are showing since the beginning of the console.Comment

If you liked the first one and not looking for any new innovations or improvements with the engine, then you should be good.Comment

Re: Crackdown 2
Some of my friends who got it are enjoying it. I'm still going to pick it up, with trade in's I didn't pay anything for it and loved the first one.
I was going to pass until I read some of their impressions.Comment

Re: Crackdown 2
This. Guys (and any gals that may be here too), this game is not by any means terrible. It's a fun game and a great time waster, it's just not the sequel we were all hoping for. It's worth getting if you can get in on it used or at a discounted price. If you liked the first game, it's at least a must rental.NFL: Green Bay Packers

NBA: Denver Nuggets
NHL: Colorado Avalanche, Pittsburgh Penguins
NCAA: Air Force Falcons, Penn State Nittany LionsComment

Re: Crackdown 2
went back and started CD1 over and am enjoying more so far than the CD2 demo.
One has much more going for it IMO ($12 compared to $60). It's been so long since I've played through it's like having a new game... finding ORBS all over again. the player is closer to you and you can lock on the melee which i love... platforming and lighting seems better overall as well including more textures... the freaks in 2 just turn my off although some of the weapons look rad.

Re: Crackdown 2
Just from playing the demo I felt the game took a step back. I know demo's are just demo's and the full game could be different but something about it just didn't feel right.
One of my biggest complaints of the first game was auto-aim and apparently that didn't get fixed as it was aiming on dead enemies.XBL: Countach

Re: Crackdown 2
When you unblocked the demo with the u limited time, it was AMAZING. However, it was a sped up game to allow you to upgrade at a quicker pace than you would in the retail game. I honestly thought they were going to be leaps above the original.
I might just keep the pre-order because I'm going to have fun regardless. I just wish I hope they have downloadable content in the works for free for this title. One reason I wasn't feeling Ruffian doing this was the same reason you never pass on a AAA title to another studio who doesn't understand the vision. I had bigger expectations for this title. Its always wise to try it for yourself though so I will give it a go. This was the exact reason why I was skeptical at the beginning. Gut will be my guide from now on.......\Comment
