Dre, EG, how did this turn out? I saw you guys playing it today........I will trade something in tomorrow at GS to get it.

I am truly NOT impressed.

For whatever reason its not as fun to me as the original.

Having a bunch of zombies coming at you and you have to run and shoot or commence in a bunch of button mashing to melee them to death only for them to keep coming isnt exactly fun.

I dont see how this is considered an evolution or anything for that matter.

Love it. Was worried, but it's still Crackdown. Having as much fun as the original in the short time I played it. I can say this, already enjoy it more than Red Dead Redemption

Should I buy the first one first?

Crackdown 1 is worth the purchase if you haven't played it. I still haven't traded mine in and I bought it the first day it was out. Haven't played in a long time but plan to pick it back up again for another go thru sometime soon.

It seems like Crackdown 1.5, which is definitely not a bad thing considering how much I loved the first game. That is what I think needs to be looked for going into this one - not a reinvention/true sequel, but a continuation of what was already great. Needless to say, I'm loving this one.

1.5 for sure. The reviews were absolutely correct on this one

I still dont like the whole zombie takeover. Feels like im playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance at time with all of the button mashing melee and hordes of zombies.

They should've went with a storyline instead of doing it this way. Sniper gun is awesome though. I had a heli code and accidentally stopped the Dl and now its not there

Anyhow, im not sure if im going to keep this game yet, definitely dont get the whole fun factor I got out of crackdown 1

One of the best things to do is hop in any car and do donuts while smashing zombies. rinse and repeat. I don't like the fact that the agency vehicles don't morph with your agents abilities though.

wow this game is like a worse InFamous

i collected about 30 orbs so far powering up is cool

i am glad i didnt spend 60 on this game..... i wont touch it after ncaa comes out..... i am let down by the graphics ALOT

Alright

Playing tonight solidified my choice. Whats gamestops return policy?

I dont want this game anymore. Im not sure where to start.

First off its repetetive as heck. Clear out this section and retake it for your friends, call the helicopter, move to the next area, capture the satellite and activate it, go to this hangout and activate this zombie bomb. Rinse and repeat.

Enemies spawn out of thin blue air. They shoot you in the back off the screen out of nowhere, they spawn in front of you out of door you cant go in, kill a bunch and a bunch more spawn out of thin air.

Zombies are annoying, they follow you everywhere trying to swipe at you, you can either button mash the game to death, run or power up fighting enough to power glove hordes of them over and over til daybreak.

This is not fun at all... why? because its repetetive, no real storyline, they copied the audio drops from infamous which I think is wack and uncreative, the city is the same, no real cover system, enemies arent smarter.

In all honesty, they could've done a much much better job, having the AI flank you and move around, making cover spots vulnerable to being able to be shot through, being able to blow buildings down on top of enemies, etc..

Instead the AI will have a gun out of nowhere, where they launch multiple mortars at you from off the top of a random building and you cant tell what direction its coming from, all you see is smoke and fire, as you continually get bombarded like its a machine gun instead of a grenade launcher. It lags when they hit the ground and stops you from moving for a second while they continue to blow up beside you.

Zombies, the harder levels on the islands are worse.. huge ones come out of the ground and take your car out with one hit, they slap you to the ground and jump on top of you and wont let you get up so they can continue to hit you until you die.. its pretty wack if you ask me.

The vehicles are cool, and they have some pretty sweet weapons but its just not worth 60 bucks IMO.

Sorry, Luv, but singleplayer wreaks to me so that I cant tell you how long it'll take, im not going to finish it..im done.

Co-op might be alot of fun though, and I like that you can choose to have randoms or friends join you at any moment if you choose to, or none at all just picking up an online orb

Other than that, you guys would be better off waiting til its used and discounted because you'll probably get tired of repeating the same thing over and over pretty quickly... and nah zombies dont belong in this series, they just dont.

Single player blows to me.


Co-op with my son is a whole other story. I like it.
