I don't know if anyone's posted this before or there's any interest, but I found a pic of the new Stillwater map at Gamestop:





A little bigger than before but still looks similar. The pic is a part of the bonus material that's a part of the collector's edition version of the game that's 20 bucks more than the regular version - I'll probably pass on the extra 20 bucks.

I finally beat the 1st one, after having to start again due to a damaged save. I wasn't expecting that ending at all, especially since in all GTA's, your character lives and you can continue for 100%.

This ending was like some Columbian Pablo Escobar stuff.

I don't even really care. I just hope it's a little more polished than SR1, as I experienced more than a fair share of annoying glitches playing it. Like in the mission with King where you have to lead the Vice Kings to the police trap, the last gang seems to get confused 99% of the time and mario run endlessly into walls, instead of getting in their car to chase you.

I don't have illusions that it will be as grand or polished as the $100+ million GTA 4, but as long as it's still packed with fun, I'll play it regardless of how long it lasts.

Haha, there were some crazy glitches in SR but all in all it was a fun game.

Thing that pissed me off about it the most though is that your character had one line in the entire game.

he said one liners, but a few of them. He talks during two of the final gang missions, and then before the boat blew up.

if you check out youtube, there are videos that show the glitches from SR1. there were a lot along with a lot of pop-in among other problems. One thing that will make GTA fane happy is the shooting mechanic. You just point and shoot. No holding down the left trigger or that other nonsense. Also, Volition do have a nasty sense of humor too.

Yeah, this one will be a riot. Streaking mission much like "hostage" was. The graphics look improved too - more realistic looking (rather than artistic). It seems like this game will not take itself seriously, and that's a big plus to the fun-meter
