This was one of the few games that I absolutely forced myself to finish.

Loved the whole experience, haven't been so terrified of a game since Resident Evil 1.

      Can't wait for the sequel

Agreed. I just got my platinum for this last weekend. Went through 4 1/2 playthroughs and still was jumpy during the whole game. Good stuff.

i never finished this one. i enjoyed it, but i honestly never felt scared, sure there were the parts where i jumped because of something popping out of the wall and making a loud noise or something, but i was never tense at all. i think it's the whole futuristic, space and alien creatures deal that made seem like just a game to me, because silent hill 1-2 still creep me out to this day.

I know I'm late to the party on this but I'm currently playing it for the first time on PC. Loving the Alien feel to it and all the jumpy moments.

It's really awesome to play this at night with all the lights off and surround sound headphones on.

I've had this on my PS3 since it was a freebie and hadn't gotten around to it (with PS4 coming out etc) so don't feel too bad. I actually just started it last night and it's pretty creepy, hoping it will give me a good scare as it's October and my rule is all entertainment has to have the potential to scare during this month.

I heard 3 was pretty decline compared to the first 2, so I never bothered picking it up.

That is crazy talk. It was a great game. Different environmental elements, even tighter controls. If you loved the first 2 you will love the 3rd.

The first one is the best...of course. The second one improved the slight flaws of the original but the third took the story in another direction and I loved the dual feel of playing in space and on the snow ridden ice planet that was the origin of the Marker.

If you played the first two you owe it to yourself to finish the trilogy.

I bought this game a while back too, and haven't finished the first chapter; only because I was side-tracked by other games. I am gonna.give this a play through though, starting tonight!

This is a really great game, and I am definitely interested in playing through the trilogy now. With this game being developed in 2008, and having played numerous games on the xbone and 360, this game stands the test of time as it is a very intense, fun, and detailed game. I would love a remastered original where the enemies could be more detailed and graphically better, same goes for the player model, but regardless...great game...
