so in your opinion is it worth picking up the flightstick combo?

The five minutes I spent playing it until I got the red rings of death were fantastic. I'd recommend it. I'll be on playing with you guys in 10-12 days.

Challenging. Not once did I feel it was frustrating to the point I wanted to put it down. Millennium and I played it 4 straight times, 20 mins each trying to beat the level. It one hell of an intense battle.

Thats good to hear. I can't take frustrating challenging in airplane games... I'll be on tomorrow. Really looking forward to this game now.

Read back through the thread, I've given many impressions of it.

IMO, the only way to play it is with the flight stick. I tried the controller, just wasn't nearly as fun. Same thing with me and the wheel, only way I play PGR4 is with the wheel.

Yup agreed on both points. Only got a little time in with AC6, but the Stick is the only way to play.

If you're into WWII flight games, pick up Blazing Angels and BA2. They both work really well with the flight stick and it makes them completely different games than playing with the controller. If anyone has crimson skies, see if it works with the flight stick as well.

Anywhere you can buy the Flight Stick separately. I already bought the game.

I haven't seen it sold seperately yet. I didn't open my regular edition and just returned it for the flight stick version.

I knew BA2 works with it, but BA does as well? Sweet.

Will my PC Flight sticks work? They are USB also. Or does MS have it on lock down?
Don't feel like paying for new sticks when I have 100+ invested in PC ones.
