Didn't play the last one but yep, thats all there was to it. Take down some shielding and cooling units and thats it. And of course there were tons of SAM sites and AA guns but nothing too difficult.

ace combat zero had you flying into a dam and blowing up targets with missiles, and you had to fly out and turn around for the ones you missed. Kind of stupid and lame to me. The place was narrow, and you're in a freaking plane.

This was narrow as well but not long. I still crashed a couple times though as trying to fly in that narrow space and getting shot at nonstop made things difficult. And then flying out at the last second through a very narrow opening made it hard.

For those with the flight sticks, what are the round knobs for on the right side of the throttle control? There is one on the front and back. Man this game is addictively challenging with the sticks.

When I was big into Falcon (PC) the wheels were for different radar settings/adjustments. Everything was programmable so this might not be the case here.

Edit: Forgot one more thing. They also could be set for the rate of "fire" for dropping bombs etc...
