Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Again, it's quite obvious, well I guess to everyone but you.. You're actual opinion wasn't the issue. It really can't be any clearer. Not sure why you're trying to play the victim role.Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
The way I look at is this, if someone came into this thread and talked about the game in a very positive light many times, which happens ALL the time on this forum for many different games, then no one would care. None of you dudes would say a thing about his over praising of the game. But the fact someone has negative views is what always riles up the crowd. Either way, I don;t see the big deal. I don't get all salty over people praising a game, even if they do it a lot.Comment

BINGO!!!
I've played a couple of them. I think there are 3 out now. I thought they were pretty good and there was plenty of length to them. I haven't played the most recent one yet.Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Given the number of negative views in this thread, that's quite obviously not true. Now when someone states the same view over and over and over again, that's where you get in to trouble.
As was said, for someone who didn't like the game, why spend so much time in the thread. You made your point, move on. Every gets the fact you don't like it, and your problems with it. Let it go and move on.Comment

I should have been more specific...I am talking about the recently released arson case, Nicholson Electroplating. Hopefully I will get a chance to play it tomorrow.NCAA: Pitt, Arkansas State

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Can anyone help me with reading people? Like what makes it obvious the they're being honest? What amount of eye contact separates the three, etc.? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm not asking for the answers, just tips on improving.Boston Red Sox

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
I'm almost done with the homicide desk, and I'm not sure if I like what's developing.
SpoilerOk, I get that the connection of the murders is obvious. But every guy I convict, I get a bigger sense of dissatisfaction that this person isn't the mastermind killer I'm looking for.
I'm sure it'll play out to be a great story, but in the meantime, I'm feeling more unfulfilled with every case.
Anyone experience the same thing at this point in the game? It's kind of trivializing the cases I've "solved" to date.Comment

To be honest, you might not like the resolution of the Homicide desk.I'm almost done with the homicide desk, and I'm not sure if I like what's developing.

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
I played it, it was really interesting. Had a couple of fun puzzles you have to do and I enjoyed how it ended.
Also, the beginning was very intense. Probably the craziest of all the cases.Last edited by Blaze125; 06-25-2011, 02:34 PM.Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Yeah. Traffic desk doesn't really have a story line, Homicide has a self contained story line, then Vice and Arson are tied together by an arc (if you've been reading the newspapers).Comment

Re: L.A. Noire (PS3/360)
Why Did L.A. Noire Take Seven Years to Make?
IGN Australia reached out to dozens of former Team Bondi employees to help get a deeper look and tell the story. Eleven agreed to speak on the record, under the condition of anonymity; many feared reprisal from current and future employers if they were to be tagged as whistleblowers. The combined experience of these former staff is extensive: between them, they represent 24 years of service. Their individual tenures range from a few months, to four years, and they include artists, programmers, animators, and software engineers. We also spoke extensively with Team Bondi studio head Brendan McNamara for his perspective.Last edited by The GIGGAS; 06-25-2011, 04:24 PM.Rose City 'Til I Die
