I have yet to use the UAV jammer. It works well eh?

UAV jammer is only good in Harcore, since the bullets are stronger. Without stopping power the guns are really weak in Team deathmatch. I guess you can use UAV jammer with a silencer, but you have to be sneaky and kind of hide.

My question is this..if you are not using the UAV jammer, and fire some shots and get some kills, then keep moving (which I do)...does the red dot show up on the map on your current location? Because if you are a run and gunner like me, I wonder if UAV jammer is worth having in that case.

I know UAV jammer is WAY more effective when your entire team has it. Then you have a real advantage. But if you are doing mercenary team Dmatch, most likely some dude near you will give away your position anyway. This is my experience.

If you aren't using the UAV Jammer perk, and the enemy gets a UAV, your position will be indicated on the map constantly — the red dot refreshes every 2-3 seconds until the UAV expires.

If the enemy doesn't have an active UAV, your position only shows up briefly when you fire your weapon. Your red dot disappears a second or two after you stop firing.

Well My ratio since going back to the meat and potatoes is 1 or more most rounds now. So I am going to stick with what works. I need about 30 more head shots to totally unlock the M16. What a great gun.

What perks do you use with the M16?

I use claymores, stopping power and deeper penetration with the M16

silencer, stopping power, and dead silence = scary
but i'm mostly a sniper so in other set-ups i depend on claymores to some extent

Not sure... it's weird because before I did prestige mode I lived and died by the M4, now that I started over, even though I have both the M16 and M4 unlocked with red dots, I mostly use the M16. I find it to be a lot deadlier with stopping power and deeper bullet penetration. True you push it once and it sprays three bullets, but I am able to hit more accurate from further away and usually I hit it twice (6 bullets) and its a kill for me. Only time I don't like it, is up close and I have to push it quite a few times, but other then that, I love it!

When is the release date of the maps?

April 3rd I believe.

M16 + stopping power = 1 shot kill. It's also better at long distances than the M4 is. The only thing the M4 has over it, is that it can shoot full auto which makes it a bit better in close ranges because of the M16's burst fire.

If you have great aim and vision you can be unstoppable with the M16. You can hit people from across the board with one pull of the trigger. I hate the M4 due to it being inaccurate and hard to kill people from distance. Might as well use the P90 instead of the M4. Stopping power + deep impact + 3 grenade perk = Noob combo!

For the PC guys out there, you dont have to wait for the map pack since there are tons of custom maps out there ready to play

the beauty of this is that like the other COD games in the past it will automatically d/l the maps once you click on the desired server to play. Just go to Options > Multiplayer Options > allow d/l and viola it automatically download the maps with modded sounds

so far the [Smart] server seems to get the most players and has tons of maps
