I don't like the Yankees, I like the Red Sox, I don't like the Lakers, I like the Celtics, I hate the Canadiens and I love the Bruins. Soccer is the best sport on Earth, but most Americans are too ignorant to realize it. I am American.

after playing the BBBC beta among other titles. Cod4 might go down as the best shooter for these consoles. It's ruining other games for me - it's THAT GOOD. I'm talking multiplayer only here because I'm sure I'd much rather go through vegas2 single. But cod's muliplayer just can't be touched - to me it's leaps and bounds ahead of everything else and continues to blow me away from time to time. Even my friends and gf dont' mind watching me play multi - that says a lot.

ps. gta4 is acceptable in every topic because it's looking madman

Exactly. COD 4 is all I will have in my shooter rotation until it is dethroned.

The graphics are great, but I felt like the Multiplayer was all about camping and the first person to walk into the open was shot up. I guess I need to play it some more and give it more of a chance, but I still prefer FEAR combat as a FPS.

Camping doesn't happen or work too often unless an entire clan is doing it (which happens mostly on Sabotage, IMO), but even then its hard to camp at a respawn since you respawn in a general area and not two locations ala Rainbow Six.

I run into the open all the time (well, maybe not ALL the time) and I think most players are more concerned with guys coming through buildings and making the long way around rather than a guy coming straight up the middle.

I play COD a good bit and I am always at the top of every room, and I very rarely see people camping. And by any chance I do get "camped," I will just go skull**** the guy.

And everytime I get "camped," that person is always finishing in the bottom half. COD players are good enough that campers and snipers usually always get pushed to the bottom. Guys are too good and the game moves to fast to effectively camp.

This is all in regards to random team deathmatches.

And I know some people hate it, but camping is a reason why all you should have martyrdom activated. It decreases camping in rooms and such.

hey now, i snipe almost all of the time, but i'm never at the bottom I move when I feel i should, but don't when I have a stream of targets to pick off - also when my claymore's are gone it's time to get sneakier too.

room camping is dumb though where smeone hides and sometimes glitches in a spot where you can't see, but that's rare.

I'm still experimenting with different perk combo's too, and the game is constantly shifting as a whole - these days so many people use demo (?) the one to see explosives, but a couple months ago almst no one used that. dead silence has had a recent revival, and so too has juggernaught which was huge when the game came out and is now very popular again (and I hate that perk!)

I hate the Jugo-Snot perk too. I've literally unloaded a clip into someone only to have them turnaround and shoot me once and I die. I have it on now to fight fire with fire.

                          where you using stopping power?

One thing about jugo-snot, is that it's totally useless on team harcore which is a mode i'm getting more and more into and i don't use stopping power because it's useless too. It's completely different gameplay I find, at first it was too stressful, but now it's really growing on me because you are rewarded to shooting first ALWAYS.

lately it's been about the overload perk for me on that mode w/ a sniper and a submachinegun.

that mode ends my biggest problem w/ the game too, when you're putting bullets in someone's chest yet they are still able to knife you - never on harcore.

I find hardcore to be a blast to play, it's much more tactical and slower paced than the normal modes. A big plus for me is you can't just chuck grenades everywhere, unless you want to risk racking up teamkills. I have two main problems with hardcore mode:

                            • There should be a limit on how many teamkills you can get before you are automatically booted. Several times I've been in a good match in hardcore when one of my teammates just goes crazy and starts teamkilling everyone, ruining the match.

                            • Every gameplay mode should have a hardcore counterpart. Right now, the only hardcore game modes are team deathmatch and search & destroy.

I can't wait for the new maps. I though R6: Vegas would take up much of my gaming time, but online play for the PS3 in that game is atrocious.

those are good points, but i haven't encountered many team killers - maybe because i'm still getting into it and haven't played it nearly as long.

I'm getting the new maps...any self-respecting sniper should really want them for creek especially. Also the studio one should be a nice change in pace/atmosphere.
I'm in the BBBC beta, but once that's done i'll rent rbsv2 at the very least to go through single player. I was a rbsv1 vet online, but this year it probably won't suck me in. - w/ cod4 still, bbbc, GTA4 there's just no room, not to mention for me backbreaker as a potential as well as some of the up comming boxing titles.
