Ill try out the RDP. I think double tap could be an awesome perk for a LMG.

My main gun right now has been the AK. It's killer with a silencer.

Does the AK take away more damage from the enemy than the M4?

I don't ever remember having such a problem with a SP game. It's driving me nuts, but I'm loving it at the same time.
the easiest way for me to beat this mission (on hardened) was to hide behind the bumper cars platform to the right of the ferris wheel (if you're facing where the russians are coming from).. did it on my 2nd try when someone gave me that tip.. might work 4 u

just don't stray too far from behind the bumper cars platform or else you'll breathe in those deadly toxins and die

Yeah, I've tried that. It's how I made it my farthest, but the last couple times I tried it, I keep getting blown up, or flashbanged and then shot. I probably just suck.

Did you guys set up the 8 claymores that you have?

If not, set those up at the open spots of the fence, they help a lot.

That was easily my favorite level in any FPS game...ever.

This game is soooo addicting online. I'm having a blast! Being a long time Socom fan this by far more entertaining. The way they set up the unlockables is brilliant. The story mode is pretty sweet too, great story line that keeps you on your toes! Love, Love, Love this game! I play on PS3 by the way, just in case you feel like shooting me up online sometime!

Yeah, I did that when I first dropped the guy on the ground. My save is right where the helis come and start dropping everyone off. I can get to that point just fine, but it's when everyone just starts coming at once that hurts. Maybe I'll try redoing the entire level and saving my claymores and C4 for the end.

Yeah, it's a shame. I wish this game could have been longer.

Alright, I finally beat it. I had to exit out and go back to the last checkpoint inside the apartments, but this was a good thing because I got to place the claymores in the right spot. The big oppening in the fense and maybe a few over by the the bumper cars. Then right after you plant the claymores go ahead and put C4 on all of the cars that are still intact... this will help later.

Also, make sure you have an AK or a machine gun as a secondary weapon. You should be able to handle the first wave pretty easily with your sniper. Then when the helicopters show up make sure you shoot the guys as they rapel down. This will help alot. Then from that point on just try and hold out as long as you can over behind the bumper cars before you detonate the C4. The longer you can hold out the better.

Be sure to use lots of grenades as well as the left trigger to do the auto lock. I don't think I would have been able to beat this level with out the left trigger. It's your friend.

Btw, they're serious when they say you only have 30 seconds to get to the copter. The first time I "beat" it I made it within iches and the mother ****ers took off on me! Very satisfying though to finally make it out of their alive. I love this game. Probably the best SP I've played since Half-life 2. It's ashame it's not longer, but playing on hardened definitely makes for a lengthier experience. Good luck.
                              Now, more than ever

Thanks for the tips, I'll give it a shot later tonight and hopefully I'll finally get past it.
