to add to this, it works like this:

25 kills with a gun will get you a red dot scope
75 will get you a silencer
150 gets you a acog scope

also, it works like that for headshots as well

I'm completely in love w/ this game off and online... playing on Hardened and I just got to chapter II (been playin since friday) and it's a great challenge, i can only imagine veteran (though I can't seem to run that obstacle course in under 24 seconds).... I didn't think I'd have more fun with this than halo 3 (and I was in the COD4 beta) but boy was I wrong. I'm workin towards gettin my red tiger camouflage... need about 15 more headshots

I got the obstacle course in about 19.25 seconds in what I would say was... my 10th try or so.

It was the accuracy boost... that thing is so damn helpful.

I think my time before hand was 21 something. Then with the accuracy boost... BOOM! Just over 19.

One of the keys to online games with under 10 people like Deathmatch is to unlock the silencer for the M16 or M4. With the silencer you DO NOT show up on radar.

Another thing, games like the Huge team Battles the 9 on 9 one, Use the M4 with the grenade lanucher, the add Sonic Boom and Matyrdom or last stand. I will get 25-30 kills every match. I love blowing $hit up! .

I'm new to the Call of Duty series, but I swear this is the hardest single player I've ever played on a 1st person shooter. I love it though. Might have a new one to buy(I'm renting it now).

Did you beat it on Veteran? If not, your assumption is invalid.

Yeah, that's how I played throught the first time. DEFINITELY not for the faint of heart. Some of the levels were just frustratingly difficult. If you slack off even one time you will die. The single player is just way too short. I hope that the next iteration of this will include a local play option against bots similar to GR2.

Single Player 8/10
Multi Player 10/10

If you don't mind a short intense gameplay experience offline then this game is the best since Oblivion.

how the hell do you aim the sniper class weapons. i love the sniper class, on BF2, COD2 and 3...but I swear I have an enemy dead to rights..fire my weapon, and nothing...in domination maps, when there are 3 guys huddled around the control point, I will fire with a guy or 2 right in my sights, and nothing. A guy I was playing with said the same thing happens to him and he gave up on sniping. Any help would be appreciated!

well first off, today was playing single player, and in the middle of the single player my disc decided it didnt want to work. so i had to go exchange the game. that was a pain


other than that, good stuff. tried playing online, man do i suck at it. gotta get out of the halo mind set
