Yeah, the only downside is the fact that it takes forever to reload. I usually have to find a spot to hide for a bit to reload. I was reloading yesterday, then a guy was trying to come and kill, I knifed him. It was NICE.

This game is amazing and one that will be played for sometime.

I hope when they come out with updates, they add new maps which are not in the SP mode

I just started the All Ghilied Up mission and yeah, definitely didn't see the guy on my left.

I love my RDP gun, its awesome especially with red dot sight. I tried the grip for it to make it more accurate, but I'm still getting used to it. The great thing is you hardly ever have to reload. If you do it takes about 10 seconds.

Make sure you restart it and don't get observed. It's an achievement. I'll tell you how to do it

That's the gun I'm using as well.

Yeah, I checked the achievement list and....SPOILERS for those who haven't played SC yet...

I got to the part where McMillan told me to shoot one guy while the other wasn't looking, but I got spotted, so I quit.

                END SPOILERS

For you guys that are getting 19-22 seconds on their cargo ship, how do you get it down that freakin' low?

Re: Call of Duty 4 - Impressions

Can people post their system specs and what settings they are running the game on?

                  8800GTS (320MB)@ 1440x900
                  2gb corsair
                  Pentium D 3.2ghz

                  Medium-high settings. AA @ 4x.
                  Most stuff on high actually...
I get around 40 fps in daytime, and like 15 fps where maps are dark.

For you guys using the LMGs...Anybody use the m60? Just wondered if sleight of hand is a waste or not with these guns because they still take a while to reload. I am all about stopping power and deep penetration. That could be lethal with this gun.

I think the m60 sucks, I like the RDP better. The sleight of hand is also a waste IMO.

I think I'm using the Saw, and then another gun. I'll have to look. I think the slight of hand is a bit of a waste because you can shoot a while and then just hide for a reload...sure, it would suck when you don't have the time, but just for me the perk is better used other ways.

playing hardened as well..since its a short game might as well make it last with frustration...
I've been stuck there in the PC version for the last three days. Probably tried it 20-25 times and just can't get past it. I've only come close to finishing it once, but died trying to reload as the chopper landed.

I don't ever remember having such a problem with a SP game. It's driving me nuts, but I'm loving it at the same time.
