You cant go wrong buying this game, especially if you like shooters.
I picked it up during the halftime break in the Michigan/Wisky game.

I'll be on later this afternoon and probably tonight.

If Halo is the "gateway game" for 1st person shooters THEN COD4 is the Heroin of gaming.

Besides Gears of War this maybe the only game I have played where I was completely blown away by how good it is.

      10/10

      Multiplayer is absolutely incredible.

Not sure if anyone else notices but the Lieutenant in this game sounds like Hulk Hogan.

I might pick this up this weekend/earl next week instead of Kane & Lynch. I want some online stuff, since all I have right now is Forza 2.

I haven't played Halo in forever, so I don't know how wise it would be to pick up yet another shooter. I also am looking forward to Assassin's Creed next week, and not sure if I want to spend $120+ on two games in a matter of one week.

This must be a really bad month for people not wanting to spend $120 on games in a week.

Do it. The multi-player is quite addictive. I'm not even a FPS kind-of-guy and I love it. I still have to get into the SP campaign.

The only problem I have is that I have somebody coming over to test out my new toy and I want some multiplayer/co-op to play with him. Kane & Lynch has co-op and the online multiplayer sounds interesting even though CoD's sounds fun, so I'm still not quite sure what to do. I'll think about it at work tomorrow.

do you need to be a certain rank to get a scope in multiplayer?

You just have to get kills with that gun, that unlocks it

Thanks, man. Is it automatically equipped or do I have to perform something on the menus?

You have to make a class in the online menu....there you select your primary gun, and can see all the options for add-ons (you unlock a red-dot laser sight first, then either a silencer or a grip, and finally a scope).

It's the area that allows you to pick your perks, change from smoke, stun, flashbangs, etc.
