I'm amazed how quick someone can assume stuff about people. Just shows who stereotypes people, and who doesn't. All I'm saying. Makes it pretty easy to find out about people on this forum.

If they're in there playing games that much to where she's got 30K+ and he's got Lord knows what on gamerscore...

What possible time could they be out with friends? My statement about not having friends was an educated guess. I know that I play a lot but my wife doesn't sit around playing with me, so "our time" is usually out doing something else.

This dude's future wife spends her "quality time" in a game with her man. I'm willing to be that 90% of their friends are the online variety. It's not so much an assumption, more of an evaluation of presented data

30K is nothing. Two years and 30K. Why judge someone based on GS or how many games they played when you don't know the deal?

You might have 5K but play games more then someone that has 30K.

She plays...period. The fact that she plays enough Halo to go online and have matches between friends where he'd feel compelled to propose to her in game is enough. There's nothing wrong with it at all...whether their friends are online or not is their business. I know a few couples who game like that, and they're anything but what you'd call social butterflies. There's no judging about it, just seen it first-hand. Different strokes.

Really all you have proved is you know NOTHING of people from the forum by posts.

First, I was saying how in THIS situation, this guy has to be a complete tool. It is my opinion on proposing over a video game. BOTTOM LINE!!!!!!!

Second, The 300+ was a joke because pared said she had a 30,000 gamer score. Meaning I was raggin on that she must be sitting on her *** playing alot of video games.

Last, to round this all up. All you have showed me is how easily it is for someone on here to jump the gun and get all defensive on someone else because they see something differently. You took the 300+ thing and kept making comments on it like that was the underlining reason for you getting upset.

I am still standing by my guess as well that she is 300+. It is not a insult, stereotype, or anything else you can come at me with. It is a flat out guess being made from the clues at hand. No where at all did I say that all gamers are fat, or all girl gamers are fat. Amoung other things you were trying to accuse me of saying.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with that...I guess I just separate my gaming and my romantic life, and even if she gamed I'd find some other more special way to propose...

Good for them for finding a lot in common/things to do together though...way too many people get married and realize they don't like hanging out together
