Baldur's Gate II


Some have come close(Half Life 2, Mass Effect 2) but no game has been able to move on to my Mount Rushmore of titles in the last 10 years. I think this game will break through.

Defiantly a first day buy for me, looks like it has retained most of the elements that made the first Deux Ex a great game.

I hope it does. Some of the impressions from E3 didn't speak too highly of the game though. Sounded like it was an old build at E3 though.

Hoping its good since its the only game on my radar for August/September.

Leaked 10 hour PC preview build has got mostly positive feedback, even the biggest Deus Ex 1 fans are finding it hard to dislike, and honestly I could careless what some jaded game journalists have to say anymore.

Yep, that is what I read as well. Leaked build has gotten praise from most of the people who have played it, and more importantly the majority of those people have mentioned how most of the elements of the game are similar to the first game.

Saw a video on youtube of somebody playing the leaked build, and it looked really good. I am a sucker for any game that gives options in terms of approaching missions.

Now I'm biased because my gut has been telling my from day one that DX 3 has a very good chance to be my new favorite Game Of All Time, but that was the best game ad ever. I literally got chills from watching it.

The reasonable thing to do is to temper expectations so that I don't run the risk for disappointment, but I can't do it. Only game crashing bugs will prevent this game from being absolute ridiculousness.

i just bought the Augmented Edition from gamestop traded in nba2k11, halo reach and other games.

this game has a good release date.... nothing really big coming out in august except for deus ex and madden....

hopefully this lives up to the hype because people are bashing it and saying its not graphically "good" on other forums.
