If I decide to get it I'll be home with it this evening/tonight as it's already paid for. 4 hours to decide....

I'm sure I'll like the game (even though co-op is only 6 missions or the whole campaign) and online will be fun. Problem is I won't be giving COD 100% game play time and by the time I do get back online I'll be so far behind the ranks that I'll probably be an easy target.
It's really weird because these types of games I lived for. The strategy/team work etc..
It just seems now if you don't play it 24/7 you get so far behind the 8 ball it's no fun. It happened with COD4. Played it for a good while and ranked up but took a couple weeks off and you would have thought everyone got an invincibility perk by the time I got back online...

I really do enjoy playing with OS players though so I'm sure I'll cave and be in line at 5.

The only perk that I really wish they take out is the Jugernaut. I think it is cheap. I also noticed that there is more of a ballance of weapons than COD4. Like a lvl 1 gun can be just as good as a lvl 30 gun. It just depends on what you are more comfortable with.

Can't wait to get this today. I would not worry so much about leveling. The guns out of the gate are good. I go Thompson- Bar - to DP28.

Now the thing that gets you is the maps. Once everyone knows the maps better then you, then you can be in some trouble. What screwed my ratio in the last game is how I was just trying to level and unlock guns, so I would use the same gun on any map. Pretty dumb, unless it is an m16 or m4 which works anywhere.

But regardless, this had made GOW2 a rental for me. I just love COD. I would probably be happy just having 4 and 5 on 360 and going back and forth. The way games have been lately, there are just way too few rare gems like this series.

Is there anyway to get this today if you didn't pre-order it from GS? If not, I wonder if it'll be in stores tomorrow on a holiday?

Mine said yes when I asked. I did not preorder, but I am buying today.
