Thanks for the impressions OPD. Sounds like fun. I am one who doesn't mind it going back to a WW shooter. If it's just like COD 4 (like you said the best shooter to come on. I wish i didn't trade it in when Madden came out. It was def my favorite game on 360, but I was getting a bit tired of it) then I am going to have a blast with it.

Looking forward to the release day.

I am the same as you. I don't mind it if it has the same engine. Will be nice to play some new maps for a change.

The nighttime level is pretty tough and will be a snipers dream I think once this game drops. Hiding in the water is alos awesome on that level as well, (I think the level was called Makin). The ability to call the dogs on the opposing team is also pretty clever and leads you to some kills while the other guys are steadily backing up shooting the pups, you blast them. Another thing I liked was the perks for the tank were separate from the other standard perks. This game will again be #1 on Xbox Live IMO. opd897, did you try your hand at any of the snipers in the beta? IMO, seems as though they were pretty lethal, but the risk reward was high since it takes so long to reload...

I leveled up just enough to get the 1st sniper rifle. Had good success as a sniper in COD 2 but I don't play as a sniper in Modern Warfare. I went with the sniper rifle in one game last night just to try it and got my rear handed to me. Does take some time to reload and not knowing the maps hurt me too. Multi-player allows 12 people in free-for-all and it seemed like every time I squeezed off a shot someone would kill me while I was re-loading. I think once one learns the maps and gets used to the rifle there could be some success with it.

Gamestop finally came through with my beta code. I already had obtained one from another site so I have one I don't need.

I hope this is not against OS policy but I will give the code to someone that really wants to try the game, free of charge. First one to PM me gets it. I would just ask that the code not be sold or traded for anything of value.

I will post a message when the code is gone so please check messages below this one before sending me a PM.

ur already playing eh? ur dl is so fast....im still at 73 percent...

so basically the same game with WW2 setting....sounds good to me as I loved cod4 and thought it was a mistake to trade it in 7 months after release since I loved it so much . and personally I prefer the ww2 setting as the only ww2 games I played were BIA, cod2 and 3....so it's still fresh to me unlike it is to others.

It's definitely COD4 re-skinned. For most this is probably not a bad thing, but for me, I've got my fill already.

I have a big download connection, got the game in about 7 minutes.

Anyway, it's old for me after playing 2 games. Just nothing new. Tanks..eh. The gore is cool, but it was done better in Brothers in Arms. The dogs...stupid! PETA is going to eat this up as I said earlier.

It's not a bad game, but if you got tired of COD4, you won't be interested in this much IMO. Just nothing new.
