Did Rufus' god combo for the first time in a ranked match today. Well, this isn't his ultimate god combo, which involves some juggling and is a little situational. But this is his demi-god combo.

Dive kick, low short, EX Messiah kick, FADC, Ultra.

Oh man that makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

But like most people, I took a looong break. I picked it back up a few years ago when 3rd strike got popular in NYC. Honestly, that was the first time I got "good" at Street Fighter. Before then, I couldn't really do major combos or anything silly. I stopped playing 3rd strike like two or three years ago, but I still had some of the skills when SF4 came out.

I'm still probably a little worse than I was when I was best at 3rd Strike.

I still play 3rd Strike to this day. I prefer that game's art style more than any of the other SF.

if the ultra was full would that be like 70-75 percent damage on that one combo?

Just picked this up yesterday. Last time I played Street Fighter consistently was on the NES. I didn't know I could be so bad at a fighting game. I really need some pointers. Anybody have any advice?

I've been floating around the 4200-4500 range for the last week or so and honestly I don't want to see what players with more points than this are like. I can only imagine the amount of plug pulling that goes on when you get around the 10,000's or so.

So I'm just gonna be playing player matches from now on. The only thing about player matches is how hard it is to find good players. I find some once and a while but they always end up leaving after 3-4 matches.

Are they ever making anymore fight pads? I had to stop playing cause my d-pad on both of my controllers is ****ed up now.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I feel your pain. I got to about 3k on two different profiles(my roommate's box and Marc's box) and now every few matches someone pulls their plug. It happens more and more the further I go. I wasn't playing that many ranked matches before and this week I decided to up my BP. As soon as I cracked 3k, there were freakin' ragequitters everywhere.

Mo and anyone else, do your part and report these guys. If they get enough reports, they get their account suspended.

I stuck around longer than 4 matches , although I would definitely say I'm NOT at an elite level.

These guys are world class D bags. even in the midst of a heated comp. i was fighting some dude and we were both down to low health on the last round and dude saw i had momentum and pulled the plug before i even beat him.

mo, born, ggs all around today. Felt good to get a few wins against mo until he learned my tactics, at which point he beat me down pretty good.

whenever you two fight, I request somebody captures it on video so we can all witness it.
