some project. Why didn't you keep the same Hori case and just change the parts? the wooden stick your building is gonna be super heavy. good luck.

I didnt like the case and any place that sold Sanwa parts were not taking orders. I still dont think they are. So i bought Happs. The box is already together. I should have it fully working tomorrow. I like the box heavy though. When i play and its in my lap, it wont move as easy as the hori stick did. I had to set it on a table to play or it wasnt precise at all, to much movement. I should be playing SFIV with it tomorrow night. Its not all that pretty looking, but its going to work. I need to invest in a mini woodshop shop in my garage.

I could only shake my head at my friend who tried to claim fighting game controls were less precise on arcade type joy sticks.

haha, no way, if you have a good player on a arcade stick, and a good player on a controller, the arcade stick guy is going to win. You can just execute moves much faster and better.

I tried to play SFIV on the PS3 controller after using the Hori Fighting stick, and i cant. It just sucks to play that way.

I wanted it like that, so when i play on my lap it doesnt move around so easy. Makes it less precise when they are really light.

Besides with Happs parts it kind of have to be huge, the buttons are pretty long. I didnt order Sanwa because the shops that sell their stuff online were not taking orders at the time.

Just going to leave it. I just wanted it to work. If i get some better wood tools i may do another one for the 360 though and know that i know its not hard to do make it look alot better.

Works great. I used happs parts. I bought them directly from their website. It costs about 150 to make, but i had to buy a dremel tool. I wanted one anyways, but that took about 50 bucks. It varies as well. Depends what kind of wood you used price varies.
