    That's friggin' awesome Moses!

I absolutely hate playing with this xbox controller. I'm not good by any means, but I know I keep missing opportunities when my guy doesn't always execute the commands I put in. It's pretty frustrating to say the least.

to elaborate, on default all three punches is left bumper or L1 and all three kicks is left trigger or L2.

thanks...no idea it meant all three of the same!

any tips on doing a fake kick w/ sagat (who is my best character by far)?

you guys are insanely good at this game and know so much about it!

edit... i configure mine custom. i don't have a 3 button , uh...button. i have focus and throw for the bumpers and weak kick and puch on triggers
i don't mind pressing all three that way.

i saw on a forum that it's Hkick twice really fast..well i can't do it and I set records on the most recent olympic game! i guess i'll never pass the first trial w/ sagat because it's just not possible for me to push the button any faster

Zangief is vulnerable just after a lariet finishes so I usually come up in a blocking crouch so he can't piledrive and time him for a super. The lariet and piledrivers are powerful but you can see it coming for about a split second and counter or block before it hits you. If he's going lariet crazy just lay low and block and time it when it stops because it takes a second for the lariet to start up again and gives you a pretty big window of opportunity to nail him.

I've used Zangief quite a bit as well but he is limited and I always had problems with Cammy and Saget or anybody really quick against me. He's good to use against noob's but seasoned guys handled me with no problem because he predictable.
I can handle him with most of other characters I use...Fei Long, all Shoto guys, Guile, etc. It was just Balrog that's a problem, he is such a BAD match-up when playing as Balrog

There's really no use in wasting a top button for throw/focus since those are so easy to do with the controller.. The way I have mine setup, I have the 3 Punches on Left Trigger, 3 Kicks on Right Trigger, Hard punch on left bumper, and hard kick on right bumper.

Or you can use the turbo button if you have the gamepad.
That's the only way I could do it.

i ended up mapping every button for the heavy kick and mached the tar out of them and it worked immediately. easy solution for anyone else having the same issue.

                      Ha...

I had to do the same thing. I was getting pissed after about twenty minutes of trying to do it. Then thought to switch the heavy kick to a face button and got it.

Wow, is it me or is a good Zangief + any type of lag online unbelievable? His 360/super/ultra already gets so much priority then you add the slight input lag from online and it's like friggin' Wrestlemania out there.

Yeah Zangief seems almost unbeatable to me online if they know what they are doing so far.

You guys got any tips for beating Seth on the higher difficulty levels? I seems like sometimes it doesn't matter what i do if the cpu wants to destroy me it will.

So I'll get my fightpad that I spent too much money on Monday. I now wish I had just spent too much money on a stick instead.

Is it just me or does the game seem to randomly change difficulty regardless of what setting you have it on?

When this game wants to cheat, man...wow, it cheats big time.

I'm about to beat Seth for the first time and I'm about to catch him with Sagat's Ultra to end it. He is literally coming up from just being knocked down, I start my Ultra, and he pulls his Ultra out of his *** and beats me. He starts it at least a second behind I started mine, yet his takes priority over mine.

I almost broke my controller in half.
