Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
Born you know I had you that match! Guile was on his knees in the face of death and then BAM, ****ty d-pad shows it's face once again. Good games man.

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
HAHAHAHA!!! That was yours to lose, man. Thanks for helping me train with Rufus though. I accomplished two out of the three goals for big boy. I just threw in Guile and Ryu for variety, because I get stale if I play the same character over and over. Ken is just there to see if his taunt makes you mad
Good games as always, Mo.Comment

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
Ok, so I'm in the process of adding and defending the cross-up game to my Cammy arsenal. I thought I was pretty good at defending but found out otherwise last night against Born. Whenever he picked Ken or Ryu I kept getting crossed up like crazy, leading to shoryukens and ultra/supers.
I'm at a point now where I know what I want to do, and I can read and react, I'm setting up several opportunities for myself, it's just the execution that is messing me up. Yesterday against Born's Guile was a perfect example. We're fighting and we're both down to about medium-low health and Born is just sitting on that Flash Kick waiting for me to jump, lol. So I get him on the floor somehow and delay FACDb. BAM, Born pulls out his ultra but misses because of the cancel. Spiral arrowed, round over.
Next round (same match) very similar scenario, Born is on the floor I start my focus attack. Now, I think I've shown him enough FADCb's while he's waking up for him not to react to the FA, so this time I actually go through with a full strength FA, I connect, Guile is on his knees ready to eat Cammy's boot, and...............
I get a Cannon Strike instead of my ultra which would've ended the match. Born hits flash kick, game, set, match.
I know for a fact that part of it is the D-pad because there are times I'm training with attack input on and alot of me moves don't get registered (and I'm looking at the controller to make sure I'm doing it).

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
I am in the same boat. I want to love this game; I know how good it is but I just cannot do the things I need to be able to do. I cannot get any single character past the 2nd level on the trial moves mode. I always get to the last move on that 2nd level and I can't do it. I have the PS3 version, the controller and the strategy guide. If I was making any progress whatsoever I'd feel better, but I'm not. Maybe it's just too much for these 42 year old fingers to handle.NCAA: Michigan Wolverines

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
I guess it's because I haven't played a SF game like 14 years when it was on Sega Genesis. But im in the exact same boat as you that I can't get pass the second stage of trial mode.
Game is not bad or anything, but I just don't know if I have patience to sit and try to learn every move.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
There's definitely a lot to master in this game and it's going to take time do that. I'm just taking a casual approach to it. I try not to stress over combos or my constant losing online. I just do what I can do and have fun. I've actually shelved the game for the last few days to play other stuff. I'll get back to it, whenever.XBL: Mean Greene
