Yea the moves are hard to pull off but no harder than they were back in the day. I think street fighter has always been tougher to master than other fighting games but its more satisfying in my opinion

I think around 25 but I'm always around 15 or 20 but then I'll run into a good Blanka who is the anti-Vega. What about you? How many BPs u got?

48 overall, but I have a lot of friends who play street fighter, so ultimately my ranked matches get interrupted by a friend who wants to see if their new trick works against Rufus or Guile. I might go for a long run on ranked matches soon, but I haven't played in a few days because of work.

I don't remember my BPs since I haven't been at the 360 in a few days. It's not that high though.


Re: Vast The jiggle physics on Rufus' stomach made him funny to me, which saved him from just being irksome. SFIII had some characters I loved, which balanced out the ones that I didn't like, but it took until 3rd Strike for that balance to take place. In particular, I really wish Yun and Makoto were in SF:4.

It's damn near impossible to beat Seth with Dhalsim.

Took me at least ten attempts...on EASIEST.

LMAO...me tooo. I was just trying right earlier and it drove me nuts. I needed to finish it with him and Rufus and i just gave up with Dhalsim and switched to Rufus.

Man I suck. I'm playing as Chun Li on the easiest difficulty and it took me like 10 triest to get past Zangief. I just don't understand how he grabs me half the time. I think I hate fighting him more than anyone.

Finally got around to unlocking some characters but I can't get Akuma. It said on IGN to unlock it with a character I've used to beat arcade before (I did that with Zangeif before) so I used Zangeif and got my perfect and never had a continue. I ended up beating Akuma at the end and nothing. He's still locked. Do I have to use one of the characters I unlocked to get him? Not that I'm gonna use him anyways because I hate how his ultra combo looks although it's powerful as hell. I just wanna practice with him so I can figure out his weaknesses.

I've discovered I'm about 10 times better with Zangeif than anybody else I use online so to save myself stress I'm only using him now until I get a fightstick. The funny thing with Geif is when you hook up with less experienced players you can almost feel their panic as I start lumbering toward all these Kens and Ryus that almost everyone uses. Once they realize all those cheezy projectiles they're throwing aren't gonna keep me at bay for very long they fold up like a cheap tent. Not to mention once I see them throwing projectiles like crazy from the get go I know they're not very good so I go for the kill quickly.

Once I get inside I have a pattern with my lariats that I mix in with blocks to set them up for a supercombo because they try to go shoruykn crazy which just plays into my hands. I've lost count how many perfects I've gotten against the ****ty Kens and Ryus. I've also beaten some 3000 BP Kens who seem to fold like a cheap tent when I get inside, I guess they'e not used to fighting Geif because I've noticed hardly anybody using him since I got the game. They must get pissed at losing so many BP's against me because I was down to 0 experimenting with different characters before I started to solely go with Geif.

People with Cammy own my *** though. I think I've won like 2 out of 10 against them.

So you went thru the whole arcade mode using Ryu and got your perfect and no continues and Akima unlocked?

Who's Sheng Long? Do you mean Fei Long and what tactics did you use with Akuma? I don't get what you mean.

1. Akuma: After unlocking Sakura Kasugano, Dan Hibiki, Cammy White, Fei Long, Gen, and Rose. First finish the arcade mode (on any difficulty) with any character, in this case use that same character for this second or later playthrough. Then fight Akuma on arcade mode, to do that get: at least 1 perfect round on 1-round matches (or 2 perfects on 3-round matches / 3 perfects on 5-round matches / 4 perfects on 7-round matches) including the last battle against Seth. No ultra combo finishes needed. But you can’t lose any matches/rounds nor use a continue when you die. Beating Akuma will unlock him.

I must be stupid but I'm confused.

Ok all the prior characters have been unlocked by me. I've beaten arcade mode twice with Geif (one time I ended it by beating Akuma)

What I get from your post is I go thru with Gief (I use the one round easiest setting) get one perfect against anyone and then get a perfect round against Seth himself. (yikes that might be tough even on easiest) and then beat Akuma and he's unlocked. Correct?
