I did that using Zangeif but it didn't unlock Akuma. And I faced Akuma at the end and beat him but nothing. Guess 'll do it again.Comment

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
after doing a bit more of a look around it appears you need at least 5 first attacks by the looks of it for Gouken:
# Akuma: After unlocking all the above, choose someone you have already beaten arcade mode with and play through again. You must not use a continue before reaching Seth. You must get at least one "perfect" round in which you aren't hit by your opponent. After beating Seth, Akuma should appear. You simply have to defeat him (continues shouldn't matter anymore) to unlock him.
# Gouken: First, beat arcade mode as Akuma. Now, start up arcade mode as someone you have already beaten it with, and you have to make it through without any continues or losses at all. Also, you need at least one "perfect" round, three "Super/Ultra Combo" finishes, and you need to get the first hit in at least five rounds. After that, Gouken will appear, and you must defeat him. Good luck with that one...
For those that have unlocked Seth as a playable character what is he like to use?Comment

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
Both of my wireless controllers have been acting real funky lately. They don't charge half the time so I decided to pick this wired pad while I was at gamestop.
I paid $24.99 for this used. I was a little hesitant at first because I've never brought an off-brand controller but I'm loving it. The d-pad is waaaaaaaaaay better than the regular controller. The feel of it is a bit different, but it didn't take me long for it to start feeling normal. I didn't get this for Street Fighter, but it's made the game a lot better for me because I'm pulling out my moves all the time. I haven't used my regular controller since I've gotten this. It seems sturdy enough, hopefully it doesn't crap out on me.
*edit my controller looks slightly different. the handles arent as round, the gamestop logo runs vertically down the right handle, and the circle under the d-pad is white.Last edited by Pappy Knuckles; 03-09-2009, 12:41 AM.Comment

Re: Street Fighter IV (360/PS3/PC)
Ok, now this is what I'm talking about. Capcom once again murders the competition with a fight game that includes both an in depth online and offline game to master. The visuals are beautiful, tons of unlockable content, and (rumor has it) downloadable characters and costumes.
When I think of next generation quality games, this is one of the games that comes to mind.
Midway and Namco need to sit back and take notes after the abominations that were MK vs DC and Soul Calibur IV. Those were ok games, but they were like skeletons with no meat on em. Street Fighter brought the skeleton, the flesh, the skin, basically everything that was needed for a fully functional game.
Now all we need is a remake of Marvel Capcom/Rival Schools utilizing this engine and its a wrap!
For all of you that are checking for a new Marvel vs Capcom, I have some good news. There's already an arcade machine in Japan (I cant recall the name) Its actually Capcom versus some anime characters, that utilizes this new psuedo 3d engine. Rumor has it, this game might get converted to Marvel vs Capcom for a stateside release.Comment
