No I'm just playing on Normal. I heard some parts get pretty frustrating later on, and didn't want to over challenge myself.

How did that vid end without an explosion? That's just wrong!!!!

Played the demo, was fun but gonna gamefly it...feel like I'd get bored pretty quick with this

I'm playing on casual but don't know what's going on. Sometimes they put Stormtroopers to shame and others they have absolutely perfect aim...with a shotgun...from 4 floors up....shooting through grating and stairs or have sniper level accuracy from 200 yards away with a machine gun.

After I got all the way up that stupid crane thing after being shot at from 4 floors up through stairs by infintely spawning enemies on an oil tanker in the middle of nowhere I glitchedly fall through a rail and die while trying to blow up the thing on top of it.

Not much ammo around,more like seems the limit is small per gun and you have to switch out a lot,it's Halo bad in that aspect.

Of course it also suffers from the usual things all these types of games do.

There's fun to be had but trying to play it as an actual game isn't going to result in a good time. I'm just sitting on some dude's step on the beach listening to Bob Marley and enjoying the scenery. (That's another tihng,no tunes! Custom soundtrack to the rescue!) Ocasional random gunfight occuring.

There's a very special gun available.
Around X: 4244 Y: 25978 there's a tower surrounded by a field of pink/white trees. The gun is on the top floor.

felt the same way at first and I usually get bored too but this is sooo much better and has soo much more going on than I expected form the demo... you still need to be creative but the mission structure is helpful and if you like clearing 100% in the camps then you will be plenty busy. Not to mention the variety of terrains, vehicles ets... I'm floored by this game.

I'm hearing people have had luck with Kmart and $44.99. Gonna run by my local Kmart here in a couple.

I assume you got it for $44.99? You shouldnt have had any problem, its $44.99 at my Kmart here and its a company wide thing as far as I know.

Picked it up. It's probably about an 8.

Sandbox, mess-around game; blow stuff up, kill people ... it is what it is.

I can't help but think it would have been better if it were first-person mixed with third-person. Like third-person when you use the grappling hooks and skydive and whatnot, but where you could switch to first person when you're in engaged in firefights.

Overall, though, no complaints. It's solid for what it is.

I got it yesterday. It's fun and there is a hell of a lot to do. I pre ordered from Amazon and got the code to download the special Assault rifle. The good thing about it is its maxed out upgrade wise when you first use it. The bad part is there is no ammo around for it so you have to get it delivered each time.

Where do you get that gun? I did up to just after the Casino so free roam is unlocked, since I've just been wrecking havoc and having fun ignoring the actual story. LOL

extreme, at the casino, there is the mission where you undue the breach charges. After that, you have to find and protect Blaine in his car. When you get back to his house the Black market opens and you can order the rifle from there. Its maxed out and you can zoom it like a sniper rifle. From Blaine's house I zoomed out from his roof and destroyed a gas pump on the river like 500 meters or so away.

Does it get easier at some point to do cool/crazy stuff? Granted I just played the demo once, but it felt more like a lot of shooting and there weren't a ton of set up cool spots for crazy explosions. I may have just been in the wrong areas, and need to play more. The creativity and the use of the hook didn't really click for me yet. Coolest i could do was driving cars into gas containers, I dunno.

I took a soldier, grappled him to the back of my car, and drove him around the one town like tin can's on a "just married" car.
