Does it seem like it takes too many bullets to put down an enemy? From watching some of the videos it seems like enemies can take an unreal amount of damage before going down, unless it's a head shot. That's one of my main complaints with all FPS's. A shot in the chest, belly, leg, etc. still ought to put a guy down, at least enough where it takes him a few seconds to regain his composure

But it doesn't bother you that the player can take about 8 hits, then just hide and completely regenerate his/her health??? :wink:

Wow, I always loved Far Cry Map Editor, I always wished Halo 3 had this type of editor. Forge Mode was a Pain IMO.

From the short bit I saw that seemed like an issue. What was worse was he would unload on a guy, then move on past him. Only to find out he didn't actually die and have to turn around and shoot him some more.

Agree. In real life you aren't getting shot 8 times and still going, but governments don't send one guy to beat an army. Unless you're the Zohan!

The game looks great. Seeing the brush fire start and spread was so cool. There's so much neat stuff you can do in the game. But I must say, from watching these videos, the enemy A.I. looks brain dead. Several times you see an enemy get gunned down and the guy next to him just stands there, as if he has no idea anything at all is happening around him.

Still a first-day purchase for me, but I am not expecting much from the A.I.

The one steller thing about the 1st Far Cry was the great AI, probably the best part of the game so I'm sure the videos of FC2 is not the final build and it will be quite different AI wise when the finished product comes out.

I hope you are right but it seems to me that IGN should have a near-complete build at this late date and I would think the AI had already been long established. Just have to keep our fingers crossed.
