Saw a funny thing today. I'm about 16% into the game and i was on the mission where you have to kill the police chief. So I get close to the area where he's hiding so i pull out the dart rifle and creep forward with the intention of sniping a few guys before I go in there guns blazing. But somebody spots me. He comes running across the bridge in my direction, runs down the hill toward me (i'm on the opposite side of the river), and proceeds to run right into the water and drown. LOL. Saved me a dart. I guess these guys can't swim.
Lost my first friend today as well. I was kinda bummed. But I eased her passing with a bullet to the dome...........being the nice guy that I am.Comment

The map editor simply OWNS, that's for sure!!! Amazing stuff IMO. I have'nt had time to do much with it but I used to be make a lot of maps for Blackhawk Down on the PC a few years back. BHD's map editor was caveman stuff compared this editor, hehe!!!
Once I get some time, a map makin I will go

I started out playing this for the PS3 and when I got my new 360 I decided to swap it out for the 360 version. I haven't gotten back around to playing this again but when I played on the PS3 I felt for me this might be my pick for GOTY!!! It's a sleeper and the deeper in the better it get's. It's pretty fun. They have the typical deathmatch and a mode called "find the diamond" which I haven't played yet. The physics of the environment (fire/explosions) make it very interesting.
I haven't had any time other than testing some created levels so far (Because single player is very fun) but I think the potential is a there for a lot of fun if more people played the game and see how good of a game it is.Last edited by Skyboxer; 11-25-2008, 10:28 AM.Joshua:

Yeah, they have 2 COD4 maps on FarCry2 able to be downloaded. I forget their names though. One is the lvl that is dark and has the destroyed bus in the middle and the other is the city one with all the cars that can be destroyed and the 2 mounted machine guns. Very nice peices of work. I got one that is a work in progress. Its a Baseball field with some dugouts, a press box and a giant forest outside the outfield. I am thinking about also making a Parking lot on one side of the baseball field. I am not sure what to do about the outfield fence, I may only have pieces of the fence up like its old and rundown.
Cant wait until its done.

Couple of questions:
- The weapons crates...........is it like in Resident Evil where if I put a weapon into a crate it will be available to me at all safehouses? I want to know before I drop some diamonds for a couple of them.
- I have 4 Jackal Tapes.......where do I find the journalist to give them to him?Comment
