Interesting. Are the characters that different or do I need to adjust to the style? I try and do a lot of hit and run with the monk. Three punches, spinning steer, a dash and when it's ready that crazy pinball thing where she hits everything around her. I love that skill.

    Any Monk feedback?
Not too much, the patch that the consoles are on the Monks are pretty weak.

and by pretty week, I mean woefully underpowered.

Not to mention the chance of more frequent Leg/Set items. They're actually really good to hang onto even if lower leveled, because in single player you can equip them, freeze the action by pausing, and then re-equip whatever your normal equipment.

Although as you know from playing with me, the only drawback is that in a multiplayer party, the person wearing the bracers has to be one that activates the shrine - it's not enough to have someone wearing them in your party.

That sucks, because I like the way the Monk plays. I wonder if it gets any better at the higher levels.

          It does, and it doesn't.

It's not undo-able, but high level of Torments take forever comparatively. Monks just suffered from reallllly weak single target DPS, especially compared with other classes. Still a viable class, just slower.

The new patch helped out some of their builds for sure. If you like the way it plays, no reason not to play it. It's just not the "flavor of the month", that's for certain.

I think the popular Monk things now (on PC in the new patch) is Sunwuko's set and a build focused around Holy damage, using Tempest Rush.

It's 25 spirit/second and you can get somewhere in the neighborhood of that in regen (like 23/sec?) basically enabling almost perma-Tempest Rush and creating Decoys (thanks to the set bonus.)

That's cool. This is an amazing game. I am working my way through it to finish, reach level 70 AND take on adventure mode. A lot of bang for the buck.

                  Re: Diablo 3

Gotten some awesome drops with the DH lately. First, got the quiver that I farmed 100+ hours for on PS3 in the Dead Man's Legacy as a freakin gift from someone. I was so happy, and so mad at the same time .

Then I had a solid set of rare gloves drop with 533 dex, +48% crit damage, and +10% crit hit chance. I rerolled one of the stats to add on +6% attack speed, and the gloves alone boosted me damage from around 550k to 640k or so.

Then this morning, I landed the Cloak of the Garwulf, and considering I run the wolf companion, it's a huge help. I only lost 4k in damage, gained a fair amount of vitality, and added 2 wolves to my stable. Can't wait to run some rifts with it tonight.

Now, I'm on the look out for the Marauder set pieces and Nat's Slayer.

Also leveling my Crusader, slowly but surely. Up to level 62 with him. I had been having a few issues with getting trapped by elites. I totally forgot that I had leveled a barb on the PS3 to 60 and stashed quite a few good legendaries. I went in with the Crusader, and pulled out a bunch of good gear. Jumped my damage from like 50k to 100k, tripled my life, and added a bunch of resist all. Should be much easier to get him to 70 now.

Iron Skin has a rune that allows you to walk through enemies if you are damaged. I find it useful when surrounded.

That +30% damage against elites on my Stone of Jordan is so amazing. Now if I could only get that Ring of Royal Grandeur. Also, got the Marauder Spines to go along with the Carapace. No luck as of yet for the other pieces and Kadala hasn't given me anything.

So uber is right on about the PC patch. It's pretty badass. Greater rifts sound awesome but I haven't actually gotten the item to go into one yet. I have gotten into the goblin vault and that thing is ridiculous. I made like 12 million gold in one run through, as well as getting a gem that can go into jewelry sockets.

Also, I found a rainbow goblin. Not sure if these things existed pre-patch...but it spawned a portal that took me to a very familiar place. A very bright and colorful place at that.
