Yeah, my spidey senses started tingling when someone sent me identical stacks of crafting mats. A friend sent me 109 salvaged legendry's twice and that's when I knew something had to be amiss.

After seeing all gear and money could be duped, I lost all interest in this.

People always find ways to dupe in these type of games. It's up to you if you want to take part or not.

Destiny will be a dupe fest soon too I'm sure.

Knowing bungie and their fondness of the ban hammer I can see them cracking down on it especially on a mmo.

Easier to combat exploits in an online-only game and you can't trade in Destiny. You can't even drop gear for others to pick up.

It's so easy in diablo to accidentally do it it's all but supported, is the problem I have.

It's been like that since forever in Borderlands 2. Didn't stop that juggernaut.

Any loot based multiplayer game will have it, with being able to do it relatively easy for those that want to.

It was rife in D2 and D3, there are ways to do it in WoW, Borderlands pretty much has it built in, EverQuest, EQ2, Elder Scrolls Online and the list goes on and on.

If this was an online only game or had a PVP element I'd be upset that people were duping around me.

Since it's not and people's duping has zero impact on other players I don't really care. To each their own. If it makes the game fun for you then do it.

Duping was crazy in bl2 but I didn't care. If 4 people farm a boss for three hours they should all get the legendary when it drops.

Makes it so much more satisfying if it drops legit. Just my opinion. Takes me back to old school gaming.

You can spend as many as you want between the autosaves, if you exit before the autosave (every ~6 min or so) you'll return to your prior save.

If you do get something you want, there are ways of keeping that as well as getting all your blood shards back. The same method everyone has been using to dupe gear sets.
Wow, had no idea. Thought I was going crazy. Logged into several times and had an inventory of items that I had to sell, and I always sell before I quit playing. If you choose to exit the game and go back to the main screen will everything save properly then so we don't do this accidentally?

                            Re: Diablo 3

I've been enjoying playing this game on PS4 and from the comfort of my recliner, but that's about it. Everything that I disliked from the original launch is still there. Other than increasing drop rates (ridiculously so), and introducing Paragon levels and the various Torment levels (though they were really there before, just on a Per level basis), and the Adventure mode, the game hasn't really changed.

                            • Drop rates still aren't as good as original game - I didn't get my first Set item until I was 15 Paragon levels in on my first Hero. In Diablo 2, you could have a set, granted of sucky items, but still a full set by end of second Act.
                            • Gameplay screen is still small. They blew up the screen and slowed down character movement. We don't get to see as much which affects play styles. Makes it far more advantage for the brute strength heroes this way, especially on the console where precise movement/control is limited.
                            • No movement powers - They took away teleporting, no running, nothing. Why? Marvel Heroes got his down solid, Diablo 3 is a total miss.
                            • Town Portals still gone - Still no way to open a portal to a location and leave it up. Miss it.
                            • Walling mechanic - Horribly implemented. Walls can freeze players in place. Don't recall that happening in the same manner in Diablo 2. This becomes more problematic due to the lack of Movement powers.
                            • Small bugs I never saw in original games with simply listing items. I can't tell you how many times I went to sell something and it reordered my list and I sold the wrong thing. This is the type of bug I just don't recall seeing from Blizzard of old.
                            • Lack of hero customization and thus gameplay styles. All powers are basically the same and play the same way (to varying degrees). Without the ability to increase the power of some, and limit the power of others, we are all forced into the same play styles.
                            • Still only 4 players in the game? Really? They could do 8 players 15 years ago, and we are limited to 4 now? I guess it makes sense since we can't see as much of the screen either. Fail though. Horrible fail.

Probably more, but that's enough for my rant. This game still feels like Diablo 1.5, not Diablo 3. From gameplay to hero customization to drop rates there are issues that simply weren't found in Diablo 2. Issues that make Diablo 3 far less enjoyable to play.

Crafting the highest gems is so expensive. I had almost 15M, then just blew it all to get two flawless royal emeralds.

Also, I wish the RRoG was a world drop. I don't think I will be grinding Act I bounties for the other classes.

Is there really any point to items specific to certain classes? For instance, if I'm using a wizard, do I really have to have a staff or if a sword has better stats I should use the sword right? I guess they only thing I would be missing is a stat relative to my class.
