You can only use 6 of the 25+ abilities though. So even though everyone has the same skills, all their characters are going to be different. If you wanted you could play through as a WD just focusing on DPS by using Darts, Bats, etc. You could play are more of a necromancer and use Zombie Dogs, Gargantuan, Zombie Wall. You could play as a status effect class focusing on things like Haunt, Confuse, Terror. There's tons of combinations for playthroughs there.

Yes however when you get to the end of NM and the first part of hell they become obsolete. I'm talking about the summons. The basically die when touched. However I do get what your saying.

Plus it's no different in a MMO...there you can pay to Respec, here you can just try whatever combos you feel work for you...

Yeah however MMO's even have a talent tree for you to boost your certain spells/powers/attacks you get.

Speaking of they could just keep it the way it is and just add a talent tree for you to customize.

First playthrough done with my Witch Doctor. Now to decide if I want to playthrough Nightmare for some better loot or should I start my Monk?

It looks like instead of talent tree they want people to combine combat skills & Runes along with stats from armor, trinkets, & weapons to maximize what you want your toon to play like.

I basically have my Barbarian maximize in having health drops along with maximum dps (strength stat) before I can be defeated while i'm using a 2hander. At the same time my follower usually just buffs me or heals me depending who i take.

I came into help you, but it looked like you were afk. I only played a bit since I spent most of my session looking for ah bargains on gear. I came out pretty well. Upgraded all my gear and still have a stash of cash left. I usually only allow myself to spend like 1500-2000 unless the stats blow something out of the water for me.

My DH finally looks badass Looking for some nicer dyes though, but the nice ones are super expensive on the ah.

mikenoob, sorry I didn't get to the leveling deal with ya.

Trying to get my wiz up there so that thing can try to solo inferno. I dropped about 2mil getting a crappy starting set of level 60 gear for him.

Blah. It better be worth it.

Allergies have killed me the last two days and I haven't got a chance to start Nightmare with my Wizard. Thinking about going Demon Hunter or Barb for my first alt.

Just a tip to all you OSer's leveling up. If you can get your hand on a helm with a socket do so, and put a red gem in that bad boy. Rubys when socketed in your helm give you % Bonus exp per kill. It made a huge difference for me leveling up. In Hell making the push from 51-60 i lapped a friend using a Flawless Square ruby is 19% more exp per kill.

Speaking of which I got to inferno last night. I was a little underwhelmed. It was challenging that's for sure but I didn't find it a lot harder than Hell in Diablo 2. I play a DH so that might be different for other classes. Looking forward to continuing act 1 tonight though !

How are you getting so much gold? Are you just playing alot? I've scrapped my lvl 54 Barb to try and make a Wizard also so I can start doing some MF runs.

I've been a member of d2jsp.org for years and years, and I offered glitched azmo runs on there.

A full group for norm would give me 90k every 5 runs, nightmare 120k per 5.
