The gamplay footage next Friday is confirmed to be 2 minutes long.
Speaking of exclusive footage, the countdown is on for next week's global premiere of the gameplay from Gears of War 2 only on Spike TV. Let me just say that you will NOT be disappointed. The link above is the Gears 2 footage. It can take awhile to load.
The backdrops really do look like a matte painting from a movie. Scale is much bigger. Lighting model is vastly improved. You can hold Locusts hostage.

Did your video just kinda stop right before it looked like action was about to start? (My screen just went totally black, maybe I should just wait a little bit)
