you gotta love the internet these days. Watching it like 3 different places before it even hits the TV. You youngin's got it good, in my day you saw "gameplay" when you bought it. (or at a friend's house first ) lol

The framerate was perfect and the number of locust they had in that one shot was ridiculous. This game looks markedly better than its predecessor.

Yeah I noticed the framerate also. Well looks like I got another game to buy this year. After that and NBA 2K9 it's to buying games

Yeah, the frame rate is buttery smooth. The footage looked so good on Spike in HD. Lighting is vastly improved, the scale is much bigger, the forest and mountains backdrop looked gorgeous. Like GI said, it looks like a matte painting from a movie. I love the fact we can hold Locusts hostage and use them as human shields. The chainsaw duel looked cool. Simply can't wait.

We should be getting multiplayer details soon with the new EGM having a cover story on it. The issue should be hitting subscribers within the next couple weeks.

I don't get Spike in HD unfortunately, I'm sure it looked much, much better in HD

None of the versions online and even the one on the Marketplace match what I saw on Spike. They are to compressed. I would have thought the one on the Marketplace would have been the best quality. Oh well.

I really liked the lighting from the trailer. A lot more bright and vibrant colors than the first game where there was just different shades of gray.

Gametrailers HD of this footage in Quicktime format is the way to view!

Game looks amazing and yes I too love the framerate and the scale on this sequel...November needs to come in a hurry!

It looks like Gears of War at first, but when u watch the comparison videos, IMO, the lighting, anti aliasing, colors, framerates, weapons, new chainsaw battling etc, makes the upgrade from gears of war 1 to gears of war 2 much more than just marginal.
