You just can't in Grand Prix, you still can in normal Vs Mode like before.


I got the game last night, it is fun to play. I'll try the online later today.

Only two people can play though not four correct? That is really holding me up in deciding whether to get his game or not.

Just picked it up, played one circuit and then hopped online.

I'm using the wii wheel- the only downside is I feel I can't make really sharp turns. Dunno if it is the wheel or just how the game works. Otherwise, the wheel is awesome.

Thank you for the clarification. I thought only 2 players could play the game offline. 4 player might make it worth picking up.

Awesome game, I think I'll be using the GC controller and not the Wii Wheel. Just doesn't feel as tight as the controller.

There are very few cons to this game, the new courses are awesome for the most part (esp the unlockable ones).

Only downsides so far for me are no multi-player GP, no power sliding or jumping and that stupid Squid/Ink weapon - that's just annoying!

They definitely need to add an item selector a la Smash Bros next time through.
