Quick question guys: Can you swap between 3rd and 1st person views or is it all 3rd person view? I couldn't find any way to do it in the demo so i just wanted to confirm if it was possible in the retail version?

Re: Red Faction Guerilla
It's awesome to sit for a minute and watch a building groan before collapsing...the physics are unreal, and I'm not always under fire now so I can appreciate it.
Part of me wants to figure out how few charges in the right place can take out a building lolLast edited by mgoblue; 06-03-2009, 10:44 PM.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

one other thing guys...
go to matchmaking and start a private match. select make private invite only, set your game type (anarchy whatever) set as long a match time as you can (not sure how long you can go) starting weapons, abilities, etc and force a start.
you can roam around to your hearts content (alone or have a friend join) and just destroy everything on each of the multiplayer maps.
Maps are game type specific so you might want to switch it up. also handy for learning all the maps without dying every 30 secondsComment

Re: Red Faction Guerilla
I still haven't got the hang of this game yet. I know you're supposed to be a guerrilla fighter, against higher odds, but I've died like 1 million times already. I haven't figured out how to sneak in, take out a target, and get out without them knowing I was even there. The enemies spawn too quickly for it.
I even got the 100 kills with the hammer achievement, and I only just got out of the first territory. I just can't pin down a tactic they want you to use to bring down buildings without getting raped by the endlessly respawning EDF. Maybe I'm just playing it all wrong.Comment

Re: Red Faction Guerilla
I'm about 3 hours in and loving it. The game is fun and I am enjoying the gunplay against the EDF as much as blowing stuff up. Graphically it looks very nice, and the control scheme is pretty solid. Surprise hit of the year for me.Comment

Re: Red Faction Guerilla
Fun game single and multi. I'm still learning multi (a lot of the people on there knew the maps, weapons, etc and were just better), but it'll be fun. Single player's just cool as well, I like the various missions and whatnot you have to do.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Red Faction Guerilla
I need to learn the weapons, aiming, and backpacks better, along with maps, but there's a lot of fun in this. That was playing on teams who weren't talking too. I can only imagine how it'll be with communication.
Siege is fun, I like the "defend vs. destroy" mentality.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
