This may be a MP game I play a lot online with. Are there level ups etc... I hate not being able to play as much as a lot of people then when i get on I'm 10 steps behind.

there is accumulated XP that goes toward tracking your experience but only unlocks skins and customizations (cosmetic) 120 in total.

All of the weapons etc are available to everyone at the start

Ostrich Hammer Strikes, Lol. About 2:15 is actual gameplay of it. It started as a April Fools joke and now is in the game...lol.

actually it's just skins... the power does not change for the hammers either in multiplayer... not sure about SP.

allegedly as equal as most Multiplatform titles this year (ie 2xAnti Aliasing on X360 version none on PS3 but PS3 has better shadows)

otherwise more or less the same (comparison)


bottom line is they are both fun as hell and the destruction works perfectly on both

finally got around to playing the multiplayer demo and it's pretty fun. Love the different types of weapons and the different packs, it really makes every game interesting.

I figure I'll probably get it, I've got a gift card to target that's just collecting dust right now waiting for a purchase like this.

So far my favorite thing to do in multiplayer is rhino pack through somebody lol.

If all you care about is blasting things to pieces, you’re going to love Red Faction: Guerrilla. Seeing a tower topple to the ground in a seemingly realistic fashion after smacking away its support beams with a sledgehammer is really a thrill, and though it may lose its appeal as you continue through the lengthy campaign, it’s still worth checking out, particularly after you unlock some of the better weapons. What’s more disappointing about Volition’s effort is the rocky mission design, bland artistic style, weak plot and anemic character development, which shifts too much focus to the element of destruction to maintain a level of excitement. Its enjoyable gunplay mechanics along with the weapons and opportunity for tearing apart structures carry over into the online space, where Volition has built an impressive multiplayer suite that includes stat tracking, unlocks, and a number of game modes that focus on flattening buildings. While the game may not do everything right, it’s your best bet for free-form demolition and unpretentious entertainment.
