belle, I am considering it. The hk417 looks to be a good gun. It uses a 7.62 bullet instead of the 5.56. That means it will have better stopping power. Also, the Famas will be toned down with the next patch. So OS SOCOM members, do you want me to make a new clan when the 1.6 patch comes out? Everyone who reads this let me know.

if they are going to tone down the FAMAS i say go ahead and switch Eton. The HK 417 looks sweet, unless it is only going to hold 20 rounds, then I would rather have the FAMAS.

I'll try and get back on again when the patch comes around. I haven't been able to game much at all because my grandpa is here for a couple of weeks and whatever, but when I have been playing it's been ZEN Pinball or GTA IV. I haven't even been playing The Show!

Southern I really didnt use the shotty that much but I did for a while because I wanted to the trophy. I looked up about the hk417 yesterday and it looks like a good gun but it only has 20 rounds. It will remind you more of the m14 instead of the m4. I am also excited in the 1.6 patch because the sr-25 will be coming in. It's a good sniper rifle as well.

They just posted a new update on the upcoming SOCOM DLC:

thanks for posting Fly. That picture sure looke like Vigilance from SOCOM2. If we get that I assume we will also get Blizzard and maybe requium as well. Would also love fish hook too.

also, it seems they are really trying to get the 1.5 patch. This patch includes support tournaments and clan ladders. Not very important for me but at least they are trying to get it right.

I can`t wait for the new maps to come out, the 1.6 patch looks nice to. I`m gonna start playing this again tonight.

ETON - any idea when 1.5 is coming out? must be soon or else wouldnt be talking about DLC or 1.6.

The way they have been talking don't expect anything soon, I don't know if they are short staffed or what but they give out some info and then it takes a long long time before it turns into anything.

I do believe they said 1.5 was being tested and they were working out some kinks, i'd say a couple of weeks away yet.

It is most definitely Vigilance in a snow setting. I am praying for Blizzard as well. Probably my all time favorite SOCOM map next to Abandoned.

I would think the 1.5 patch should be out soon. It is at Sony for approval but they had some problems with getting the tournament ladders correct. I would think within the next couple of weeks it should be out. My guess on 1.6 would be by the end of summer but don't quote me on that.

I refuse to believe anything until i see it. They've been saying the patch is in testing for close three months now.

I'm so tired of them saying this patch is gonna come out it makes me sick!!!! I love this game, but the timeframe of this patch getting out is crazy!!!!
