This game is so freaking awesome. I just wish they had a damn search engine, it takes me about 10 minutes to find a game that I want to play.

same, if they had it setup like COD it would make things sooo much easier. My only gripe with the game.

Thinking about buying SOCOM, does it have a training mode to get you familiar with controls, etc.?

my suggestion is play respwan rooms. They are unranked but you get a chance to get used to your weapons among other things.

Good idea, I decided to pick it up, mainly for the mic, but I will try that.

I think there is a way to set up private matches. That way you can hook up with some of us OS people and not have to deal with all the duechebags out there while you learn. :wink:

how is this game in the "fun" category compared to socom 2?Also,are the clan matches still like best of 5 each team picks 2 maps and last map is random>?

I have been playing awful since the patch. Before the patch my hit % was 21 %, since the patch it's 15%


p.s. Is there a good gun where you can hold down the trigger and it doesn't jump around ?

lol, every Military and Police force in the world is still looking for this gun. The hk5sd and F90 are not bad with the recoil though.

Same thing with me. It is like they adjusted the senstivity of the aim. I have been fiddling with it trying to get it where I feel good with it. But before the patch I was pretty much on. I rarly missed open shots. Now it seems they are 15 feet from me and I am hitting everywhere but them.

found my fav gun. The SAS clan gun. Think it's called IAW-80 or something similar.

i like that gun too. It has less recoil, which is what you were looking for.

Well after sucking it up pretty bad, I decided to get rid of the silencers from my guns and just go with a front grip and scope...seems to be better for me and last night had two back to back 18 kill games, so I'll see if that keeps up.

yeah, it reminds me alot of the 552 which is my favorite Merc gun by far.
