How is the SOCOM Clan scene over here at OS?

Non-existant. This board is geared more towards 360 online.




Anyway, if they keep pushing my games back, I'll probably never get a PS3. MSG4, FFXIII, SOCOM, one of these needs to go ahead and wrap it up and release!

If we can get a small group of guys that want to game consistently I would form a clan for us.

ICT is right. People tout it all the time during the game "flavor of the month" yet are nowhere to be seen 2 weeks later.

Yeah only 7. This game is online only like Warhawk So I think 7 is ok to start with. From the video footage the game looks good. It's pre-alpha so I think it runs a bit slow but at least they put the blood back in.

Pared, I will be picking this game up, unless Its really bad. But i would be interested in joining an OS clan. I havnt played combined assault in a while (The show takes up all my gaming time), but I used to play daily.

It's hard to determine people's commitment to a game. Either way, that makes two.

excellent, what type of maps and games to you play? I really only like small maps that are run and gun. I cant stand snipers or gernades. I am alwasy dead within seconds, lol.

Ha... well then we'll balance each other out. I love the snow missions and staying prone for a while... until I can get an idea where you are...

Man, I am pumped for this game now! haha. My internet has been a little wonky lately. I cant be signed in on my computer, My tivo, and my PS3 all at once with out it all getting messed up. I hope I can figure it out before socom comes out.

Sniper rifles dont bother me as much as gernades, people just blindly throw them at your spawn when the round starts and it pisses me off! But you need gernades to get the snipers so I just turn them both off.

Do you have combined assault? If so whats your name? maybe we can play a little bit before Confrontation comes out.

No, haven't really played since Socom2... didn't like 3 initially and was too deep involved with the 360 at that point.

But this... this will be amazing. I can't wait.

I'm a former Socom addict & used to play with my brother until the AM every weekend. I started with part 2 & then continued from then on. Combined Assault was ok but not great as 2 & 3. The one thing I like about this game is the Clan setup & now its going to be more in-depth with more setup features & rankings. I am definitely getting this game.

I'm more of a run & gun but I'm an above average sniper too. Can't wait but for now its CoD4.

ya run and gun is really all I play. its the most fun for me.

tree3five, you will be happy to know that the developers are listening to the fans and are going back to Socom1-2 style maps. This means smalled, more intimate maps with no vehicles. Check out the www.SOCOM.com website for a bunch more info.
