That's the thing, I hold the R1 down and it shows where I'm going to throw it but it just ends up being thrown about 5 feet away. I'm getting better at this game, had 2 6 kill games last night.

I think CoD: WaW is going to collect dust from now on, because this game is so awesome.

With motion sensor on press and hold R1 and tilt the controller back that will increase the distance on the indicator. It feels awkward but you will notice the blue indicator distance increases.

WaW is so unimpressive to me. In fact, the whole COD series is dumbed down now to help the little kids have fun. When I shoot someone they had better die...not drop a nade, somehow survive a clip from me because of Jugernaut, or lay on the ground shooting me with their handgun after I pump them full of lead.

Thats exactly what turns me off on the CoD series. Its fun yeah, but its so unrealistic. On Socom, 2 well placed shots will do you in, and it doesn't even have to be head shots. I had some awesome games before I came to work, I keep getting lucky with some sick headshots. I'll be on around 5pt.

I saw you and Sportznut online playing last night in respawn rooms. Very smart by you two. The ranked rooms are defiantly survival of the fittest. I'm getting close to a trophy or 2.

Yeah, I've only played ranked games that night we were in the same room. One and done is pretty much meh for me, plus doesn't hurt to get some practice in.

Been playing real well lately. I started not worrying about kills and concentrating more on not dieing. Being more patient pays off well in this game.

finally starting to get a little better. the key for me is staying behind cover and not trying to get into big fire-fights. Still need to get better at shooting. Just need to keep being patient

Duh. it's the exact opposite of any other shooters out there. You got to move wisely and pick a spot. Not run n gun like other shooters right now. That's why I love it!

I know man, I find myself in that CoD mode still. I see someone and get too excited and try for the kill with no success. Your really do have to pick your spots and be patient. Love this game.

Has this game been fixed for the most part? I remember hearing the horror stories when it was first released about how nothing worked. I have been looking for an online shooter to play, and I think I would like the team aspect of SoCom.

Yes it has. Even before the latest patch which fixed pretty much everything, I still really enjoyed the game and thought it was very playable. People complain a lot.
