Already posted. Whats funny is Jack Thompson has an agreement in place that prohibits him from going after Take Two for the games they make so now he is turning his attention towards Rockstar instead. I figured Rockstar would fall under the Take Two umbrella but apparently it doesnt.

I am sure by Monday he'll be on some news program somewhere and the story will spread from there. What an idiot going after Rockstar, aren't they primarily based in Scotland? Maybe he will justify that the Scottish are polluting American sensibility with their evil foreign video game.

There were no cops in free roam.

Whoever was hosting should have had an option to turn on police presence according to all the pre-release information that I saw. :wink:

To anyone that is able to play online and live to tell about it... how does it work when police are on? I mean, can everybody have their own wanted level and their own cops on them? If you're in the same car as somebody else but don't really do anything to gather their attention but your partner does, do you get a wanted level?

This is the coolest game ever.

That is all.

Single player is great..but honestly....I could sit in a free roam room with other OSers for HOURS and not get bored.

Well it seems that he has changed his focus, first it was against the company that made the games and ever since that proved to be fruitless, not to mention the agreement he has in place with Take Two, he has turned his attention to making wild accusations that all retailers sell M rated video games to minors. He is already calling for sanctions and lawsuits against Best Buy, Walmart and Gamestop so we will see how this turns out. Most definently Fox News will run a story on this within 1-2 weeks though, that Im sure of.

I don't have the game yet but I remember reading in one of the many previews that each online person has a seperate wanted level. Not sure how that is applied if they are in the car with one of Liberty City's most wanted....LOL.

Pretty much made a quality decision to buy the PS3 and 360 versions......CRAZY, but it must be done

I don't have the game yet but I remember reading in one of the many previews that each online person has a seperate wanted level. Not sure how that is applied if they are in the car with one of Liberty City's most wanted....LOL.

I mean just seriously man... imagine the possibilities!

Say your buddy is wanted, has maybe three stars, and is being chased by Liberty City's finest out in Times Square. You, meanwhile, charge some C4 on the asphalt and wing it on the sidewalk as you see your buddy pass by with four units behind him. Let him pass by, then BOOM!

There's cops you just have to turn them on.

I just messed around, I went into a hospital and killed some people laying in hospital beds. I couldn't find any hookers though...

Damn you ROCKSTAR DAMN YOU!

Have to wake up to work in less than four hours and get ready for a meeting and here I am playing in some virtual world.

If that doesn't show how great this game is, nothing will.

But seriously, this game kicks ***. Gameplay, visuals... did a couple missions. Nothing to big, just the ones that introduce to the basics of the gameplay.

Couple cool things. Was driving down the street like a maniac with some crappy car, hit the hand brake a little too late and spun a couple times in the air, fell rolling on the ground over two people, a fire hydrant and through some store window.

Wow, seriously.

Also, didn't get into many gun play but after my last mission after it saved I saw some cops. Knowing I was getting off I bugged them, only having a knife... lol I tried to stab him but they both blasted my *** fast. Was hoping to get their gun but a failed.

Those on the border, there is no border. BUY, for whatever system.

I have also only done a couple of missions and i already love Niko and Roman both are great characters. I have been online just messing aroud with free mode. Had fun my highest wanted level in free mode was 3 stars. Im getting used to driving Romans taxi and driving sure has changed. You can't use the hand break to turn you have to SLOW down and turn in to a corner. I walked down to the 69th street dinner and grabed a burger for a $1 and the manager made a funny comment. "Buger and a **** ***."

Interesting... a lot of stuff floating around on the PS and 360 forums about people getting freezing on the PS and DDE on 360. Hopefully this is not true.
