Re: **The Official Grand Theft Auto 4 Thread**
Can you do that and still use it to call people if you did want to hang out or progress through missions? I just want to focus on the storyline right now (and that god damned Snow Storm mission) and Roman keeps bugging me to come drinking or bowling...
I turned it off when I was just trying to cause as much mayhem as possible, but I never tried using it for anything.
I agree about the friends thing -- I fell asleep with the game on and I pissed off everyone...Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: **The Official Grand Theft Auto 4 Thread**
I do but it only cuts down on the amount of calls, you still get negative reaction if you havent called them in a certain amount of time. I cant count the amount of times I will have my phone off and suddenly I get that little thumbs down in the bottom left corner for one of my friends because we havent done anything in awhile, so it solves the problem of being interruputed but since Im going for 100% completion, it really doesnt solve my main problem with it.Comment

Re: **The Official Grand Theft Auto 4 Thread**
And there is my major annoyance with the game, for as much as it does right and it does a lot right, the friends aspect is way overdone. Im growing really tired of getting messages constantly to go and do something with them. Secondly, if they are going to have so many people you need to entertain constantly then they also need to have more things to do, going to the same few places all the time also gets old quickly. Maybe they will release extra things to do with one of the DLC, for instance, playing basketball at one of the many basketball courts around the islands.
That friend stuff is not required at all. Totally optional.Xbox 360 GamertagRAW 910

True but dating Kiki is almost necessary because she has the best special ability of all IMO and it's a waste not to use it, unless you use cheat codes, which I never do.Comment

Re: **The Official Grand Theft Auto 4 Thread**
I can't remember the name of the island I'm on, it's the third one you unlock where you can start shopping a Perseus. Anyway, I was shopping there one at the one located south on the island. And I stumbled upon an automotive dealership with some of the luxury vehicles on display in the game. But now I can't find it.
I've been driving around the area but still can't locate it, does anyone have any specific details on how to get back there or exactly where its at? Thanks
Edit: Nevermind, it was by the wrong clothing store, my bad. I happened to stumble upon when I wasn't even looking for it.Last edited by Thrasha; 05-09-2008, 09:26 PM.“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. Re: **The Official Grand Theft Auto 4 Thread**
True but Im going for a 100% completion, and part of that is having to unlock all unique abilities for each friend and complete all activities for each friend, so therefor I cant afford to ignore their calls if I want to get 100% completion. On a side note, I finally got the 200th pigeon just now, so I can finally say Im done with that part of it all.Comment

Re: **The Official Grand Theft Auto 4 Thread**
Well I took a break from the game and i'm still slowly plodding through but by God I hated the search and delete mission.
SpoilerThe one where you have to chase then kill Lyle Rivas
It took me literally a hundred times to get through it!
SpoilerSo i'm now living in Bohan (I think) The setup to the move was pretty emotional what with Roman's apartment and depot being burned down.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: **The Official Grand Theft Auto 4 Thread**
Where can i find "Swingers Golf Club"...? I'm doing the vehicle delivery side missions and the message tells me to find the vehicle parked here, but it doesn't state a suburb (not even an island) so i have not idea where to look.
These vehicle delivery missions are great if you're looking to earn lots of cash quick...by delivering a sports car like an Infernus or Banshee you net around $20,000 (assuming you don't damage it too much) which is more than most missions have earned me! I've completed 18/30 atm.Comment
