Dan Houser really needs to stop being the "script" writer. Yes, I know GTA is supposed to be over the top and is satire but so much of the dialogue is freaking annoying that only has the purpose of helping to continue dumbing down humans.

In both these DLC we have a huge amount of annoying characters- In TLaD the entire Lost gang is annoying and I hate the main character Johnny. I am not much into Ballad of Gay Tony but Tony is incredibly annoying as is that guy they meet up with early at the golf course. At least (so far) Luis is decent and I do not want him dead like I do for Johnny.

I recently finished Saints Row 2 and that game has much better dialogue than these packs which is sad because I EXPECT more from rockstar and maybe they need to get a real writer on board who won't slap "whatever" into every fuggin sentence/cut scene among other stupid things that have been said.

It's been a while since I finished GTA 4 but I *think* it was better than these DLC packs and actually seems like it came from a dude who has an IQ above 90 and/or who isn't a teenage girl.

Some might criticize the game for different reasons, but I am happy and enjoying this add on more so then the first one with the bikers.

EIGHT whatevers and I have only done 5 missions. This is ridiculous.

WTF is the point of having characters say anything to each other if the reply is just going to be "whatever"...I realize american society is "whatever" obsessed but THEY DO NOT SAY IT THIS FREQUENTLY.

I want to kick Dan Houser and whoever else wrote this **** in the nuts...hard. Saints Row 2 had less than eight in the entire game's cut scenes and GTA is supposed to be the more intelligent/realistic game. That is pathetic.

Oh and wtf are the cut scenes so long? It's like 4 mins of driving to the mission, 2 mins doing the mission and 10 mins overall of cut scenes.

Maybe GTA4 was like this (again, been long since I played it) but for such a technically amazing game this crap sure is pathetic. I buy a game to PLAY it not to watch idiots saying "whatever" and other stupid crap in cut scenes and to simply drive all around town.

This dude would love the 4th one.

I agree that some of the same mission types happen like Cuse said but the dialogue isn't that bad. If all your doing is counting how many "whatever's" everyone is saying then your cheating yourself of playing a great game.

I agree, one of the things that GTA does best is craft characters through witty smart writing and great voice acting. The cut scenes are well crafted and in my opinion, give you great insight into the characters without being too long.

Go figure somebody complaining about driving too much in a game called Grand Theft AUTO. I bet if it took 20 seconds to drive to missions he would complain that the map is too small.

And the cut scenes in this game is not long at all, plus you can skip them. Unlike many other games where you are forced to watch all of it.
