SpoilerOriginally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -
re: Grand Theft Auto IV
Agreed. Its a fun mission, but I didn't think it THAT epic. If anything, I liked the two Eddie Low missions better just because Eddie is a crazy mofo.

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
I would have liked TLC better if
SpoilerYou were actually in control of Niko instead of the cut-scene in the bank. I was thinking that you had to keep an eye on the crowd like in the Vice City bank heist.

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
That was my biggest issue with it. The rest of it felt like every other mission with just more guys to shoot.Comment

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
SpoilerPackie kept getting in the way of my line of sight when I was aiming. I shot him two or three times. Good thing I waited to see where he was before I did any RPGs or grenades.
Now, the mission where you have to sprint after the truck and climb on was pretty nice.

I've killed Packie before in some other mission where he ran into a group of guys and I sat back and started sniping. I shot Packie three times (didn't know he was Packie at the time) in back and I was like why isn't this bastard dying. The 4th shot he went down and it said Packie is dead. I was like damn.Comment

Re: 3leaf and GMc missions
SpoilerMy main issue with 3leaf is the same issue I have with Call of Duty's friend AI...I hate being the foot soldier in some squad of loose bastards with no tactics. I threw a grenade at the one of the cop cars in front of the back, and this guy runs *towards* it. I don't expect these guys to be sharpshooters, but I'd love the ability to tell them to stay put, or to just have their stupidity kill them, and let me move on. I hate being responsible for people I can't control who have bad AI.
Re: GMcYeah, he's essential. Are you talking about the one where you have to chase the bikers? just go slow on turns. If you follor them all the way through the tunnel, one of those guys will die automatically.Comment

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
SpoilerNah, i'm talking about the mission where you have to chase the really fast biker gangster all over the city. I just finished the subway chase with the bikers though. While that took some time it wasn't frustratingly hard. When I passed it I let the one biker crash into the train and the other biker I shot off his bike on the street then finished him off.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
SpoilerI almost screwed up pretty badly on the biker mission where you chase the guy on the train tracks. When I was following him on the tracks, a notification popped up telling me to press Y to get on the train. So I pressed it thinking I had to get on the train to follow him, which caused me to jump of my bike while he got way ahead of me. Thankfully he got hit by some cars right below the ramp where he got off the tracks and I was able to kill him.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

re: Grand Theft Auto IV
Bought the game on Friday night and am loving it. I'm about 15% percent through the story mode. I really like the storyline and how Niko interacts with everyone. Multiplayer is fun, though I'm still getting the controls under my belt, which has meant losing a lot of gun battles.
Some of my wife's students (5-8th graders) have the game. She asked me if I thought it was appropriate for that age group. I said "No way." There's no way my parents would've ever let me play a game like this when I was that age.Comment
