Wow, I finally beat this game...took me long enough.

The ending left alot to be desired, otherwise probably my favorite game of all time.

I too am curious as to what will be included in the DLC.

Judging by the way the game ended, I think it's entirely possible that the DLC will have more of Niko's story.

I'll bet it involves the conflict with Bulgarin.

I still don't understand why they are waiting so long to release it? Half the people who bought the game might have already beaten in and traded it in by the time they release it.

I was just at Gamestop earlier today and I saw, I **** you not, about twenty-five used GTA IV titles lined up next to one another for 360. I didn't really look in the PS3 section, but that many just at one Gamestop?

Most likely, the promised DLC lead interested gamers to the 360 version months ago. I don't really see how that can drive more retail sales of the game now, especially when it can be picked up used. There will be big exclusives released this fall for both consoles, plus you have Saints Row 2 probably stealing some of the people who have already grown a little tired of GTA 4.

People who wanted the game already got it, as GTA4 was like the 45th best selling game last month. The percentage of available console owners the game ended up selling to was actually higher than San Andreas, as there were more ps2's out for that game than both current gen consoles combined. It's something like 1 out of every 4 PS3 and 360 owner already owns GTA 4, and it's only been out since late April. Even so, there was news about how the game isn't meeting take two's laughable sales expectations, even with around 10 million sold, and with a PC release coming soon.

Just seen for the first time that there's a train that you can catch directly INTO Star Junction. I'm assuming that it's Grand Central Station because it had a few other trains going to other places as well?

And whose ever idea it was to give us the ability to watch TV IN the game and have it LOOK GOOD as it does, deserves a raise and promotion.

So 360 gets an exlusive extended version of the game, what about PS3?

I havent played the game since I beat the storyline.. kinda annoyed me how lame it finished.

Microsoft paid Rockstar $50 million for exclusive DLC content, which makes me wonder why there isn't much information on it yet. M$ should be pissed right about now.

not exactly correct.

it has been widely misreported. In fact MS funded (loaned) Rockstar production money which is getting repaid.

MS did it to weaken the hold the playstation had on GTA. GTA was always a timed exclusive on the PS2. Sony even had the two GTA psp games.

GTA is a game franchise that people would go buy the other console for. MS got their money's worth when they got the game to release the same day as the ps3 version. That combined with exclusive DLC probably lead some people who otherwise would have bought it for the PS3 to buy for the 360 instead.

The DLC is now important because GTA 4 sales on the ps3 aren't that far behind those on the 360, and the total sales are still below Take Two's expectations. The game sold to more available console owners than San Andreas did on the ps2. It's peaking in retail sales, but there's still lots of money to be made, at least on the 360 side.

I'm now waiting for MS or Sony to come out and say that they have "exclusive" achievements/trophies, since those are exactly the same as the Achievements.
