If they do San Andreas, then Gangs should be a MUST HAVE in the next GTA Game. They had it perfect in GTA: SA(where Gangs would come after you for being in their hood and wearing other gang colors)so if they could get that on Next Gen....I'd be in heaven lol.
It was perfect in GTA III too. Drive through St. Mark's after you kill Salvatore and it's your ***. That Mafia Shotgun is no joke.

        Chinatown was always an adventure.

For some reason the Cartel was never that bad, despite being the biggest enemy for the last half, maybe more, of the game.

It was brutal after killing Salvatore, that entire section of the map was off limits or it was instant vehicular explosion and death.

Man, I need a PS2 or PS3. All this talk of San Andreas and GTA III is bringing back really good memories.

Sorry for the off-topic question but the new PS3's don't have backwards compatibility, right?

PS3 slim is not backwards compatible. The 60 gig fat boys are.
            MLB: Chicago Cubs
            NFL: San Diego Chargers
            NHL: Chicago Blackhawks
            NBA: Chicago Bulls
            NCAA: Iowa Hawkeyes

Damn, thought so. I think those 60 gig fatties are very rare too.

Rockstar really needs to release a GTA collection (GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas). They'd sell so much.

If they would release a GTA III Trilogy that ran on the new engine, I would pay $180 for it.

I believe some 80gb Fat PS3's are BC. I have a 60 GB fat one and I rarely play my ps2 games. I wish I could just trade it in straight up for a slim, since my fan sometimes gets loud.

Man the Cartel was annoying as crap.

You couldn't step one foot across that bridge without having them shoot at you every chance they get. At least the Yardies wouldn't even care all the time if you killed their members or not.

I think they had the Mafia on GTA4 as well because I remember a few times riding thru Alderney and would notice them driving like the Honda Civic looking cars on there and every time you tried to take their car, some random dude out of nowhere would start shooting at you.

I was a little disappointed that gangs weren't as big a part in the game as they were III. I mean, you still dealt with people in the Mob, but there weren't any danger zones.

Me too. First it was The Show, then Read Dead, then NCAA... stuff keeps coming up and I just keep putting it off.

That's why I still have my PS2. I just fired up GTA III, Vice, San Andreas, LCS & VCS. I can't get enough GTA!

BlueNGold, I just did the San Andreas mission "Drive-Thru" with "Deep Cover" blasting on Radio Los Santos. Good stuff, lol.

I beat TBOGT, but I never finished TLAD.

It was hard to get into the Biker thing. I'm pretty far into it, I need to just finish it and be done.
