- In all multiplayer modes entire Liberty City is available (Host sets what area people respawn at this is the main battle area but you can go anywhere)

-Your online person can be male or female

- Money you get determines you rank online

-Get money by killing people (probable more ways but thats the only way I read)

-Host can set how voice chat works (everyone hears you, only teams can hear eachother, or proximity chat)

-In race mode anything goes (you can use helicopters, boats, or even run across finish as long as your first you win)

-Shooting and driving is fairly difficult (as it should be)

- Hangmans NOOSE is 4 players and starts at airport where you must take Kenny Petrovic to safe zone in city while persude by the NOOSE team (National Organization of Security Enforcement)

-You can skip rockets across the ground if aimed correctly

- Free roam is just that no rules, no cash, host decides weapons

-OXM believed that free roam will be GTA IV's killer app and said it was incredible fun and will last for years and years they believe

well they might have had to dumb them down for a smooth multiplayer. No big deal really.

Nah the skin tones and textures have this bizarre hue to them which is annoying and definitely detracts from both the quality and realism of the graphics. The gameplay will be insane though.

In the online free roam mode, how many people can be on the server/map at the same time??? I know that's been revealed somewhere but not sure where.

For online games, can you join rooms that you want to join? Or do you basically go to the online section of your cell phone, and it automatically sits you in a random room?

I'd prefer to join an OS Free Roam room if possible, instead of just clicking "free roam" and being thrown in with a bunch of randoms.

For online games, can you join rooms that you want to join? Or do you basically go to the online section of your cell phone, and it automatically sits you in a random room?

I'd prefer to join an OS Free Roam room if possible, instead of just clicking "free roam" and being thrown in with a bunch of randoms.

Well I remember reading something from the creator about being able to meet up with friends and just chill n the car discovering the city.

Would be weak if you can't join private games with just friends.

Have they even released actual gameplay videos? and Hoos, not sure about free roam but the other game modes theres 14 people online i believe, would be sweet for 14 on free roam.

Man a 14 player free roam with OS'ers would be great.

With free roam could we kill people and have the cops follow us etc...?

Would be nice to go on a killing spree with 14 people and then battle it out with the cops.

On an article it was stated the host will be able to choose how many peds and cops there will be online, so im pretty sure we will be able to do what we can offline, online. This game will be played forever.
