Since i'm on information overload forgive me for this "stupid" question but can one go online and just drop into a free roam with a bunch of strangers? If so that'd be kinda cool, just drop in and look for other online people and try to kill 'em LOL

I haven't seen anything that suggests this is possible, but that's not to say that it isn't. I hope it is!!!

Joining a free roam game midstream would be awesome in GTA4. Sounds like the full city is accesible in ALL online modes although the host can choose a section of the city for gameplay to take place. One of the articles posted in here, said that you can venture outside the initial spawn area.

Boggles my mind to think of how this will all play out online. The city is huge!!!!

hey has anyone heard if ebgames/gamestop gonna do a midnight release of this game i have it pre-ordered but sometimes those employees dont know they are talking about so i am wondering before i call to ask if anybody has heard anything?????

At one of the malls here they said that they were going to have a midnight release so I'm sure it's a nationwide thing.
