And after playing for twenty mins, I get another dirty disc error.

I keep getting dirty disc errors as well on the 360.

I haven't had any issues yet, knock on wood.

Hmm... I dunno, maybe I should try reinstalling it. It definitely shouldn't be running like this. It reminds me of when I tried playing san andreas on my old computer that probably wasn't good enough to run it.

I'm loving the driving controls and you can really tell when you're driving a good car.

Just now was on chase I hit the hand brake, spun a 180 and got a couple shots off at the cop car to take them out. Bad ***.

I have the Dual Shock 3 and vibration turned on but the controller never rumbles ???

Ive crashed cars and everything but nothing.

Anyone else notice this ??

I start the game, and I'm driving to Roman's place, and I'm going pretty slow trying to get the feel of how cars handle and Roman is getting pissed. First he says "Come on cousin give it some gas.", Then a few block later, he straight out says, "You drive like a bitch"

I don't know if I'm alone in this, but I must say that Brucie may be my favorite videogame character of all-time. I laugh each time he talks cause he reminds me of a few guys I know

Alright, time for some of my impressions. I've played it only a couple hours, but I love it. At first I was a little let down about the graphics, but then when you see the game in action, see how fluidly everything moves, see the collisions and explosions, I wasn't disappointed anymore. The game didn't suck me in at first (but only being able to play for 15 minutes at a time earlier might have caused that), but the more I played, the more I got into it. I was pretty surprised at some of the things in the game. Driving really is harder. I was frustrated having to spend a good 15 minutes driving around to find a hooker (then I found about 8 in one place). I love the choices you have to make though.

What I found humorous, but kind of frustrating:

So I am out with Michelle. She is getting into the car on the passenger side, when suddenly some cop car comes blazing by, completely annhilates her (the cop was not in response to me). Then she is "too scared" by me, and then refuses to talk to me for several days.

I was reading on IGN that some of the cheat codes (for weapons and stuff) may "disable ability to get some achievements."

Does this mean permanently? Or is it just while I play for that session?

Yeah for the session, though I think if you save the game with cheats enabled, you can't get achievements either.

Yeah, if the game saves and you have a cheat on, your achievements for the rest of the game are done unless you have another save or restart.

You'll have your first fight when saving Ramon from the loan sharks. Remember...when fighting, make sure to hold down the left trigger in order to target.
