I am really trying to get into this game but can't. Never been a big GTA guy. Going to try some of the online modes and see what they are like. I guess I just really struggle with the combat mechanics of GTA games.

Man, I might be in the minority here, but I hate the way they show the map when being chased by the cops, its tough enough to see my tiny little dot thats moving but then that thing flashing throws everything out of whack and I cant figure out where the hell Im going, frusterating. I dont suppose there is anyway to make the marker for my car bigger so its easier to see is there?

definitely... the gunshot to the eyeball at point blank range was BRUTAL! But i'm glad it brought his sensitive side out and we know why he's in Liberty City

brutal is right. I guess he shouldnt have told Niko to get him coffee earlier. I dont think he appreciated some of his comments...but at least Niko got some work and some money out of him before he whacked him lol

btw, Niko and his cousin are Serbian right? and most of the guys they are working for are Russian?

This is, easily, going to be the most addicting game I have ever played. It has, easily, lived up to the hype and I can only imagine it surprasing that, especially with how fun the multiplayer was tonight.

Harlem is in Manhattan.. where Manhattan = Algonquin in this game... I seen Washington Heights online (though it was called something else... can't put my finger on it.... ________ Heights).. not sure if Harlem is in it (didn't go looking, too busy flying down Park avenue trying to get midtown to look) but it SHOULD be in there.

Anybody think it would have been really cool to include a small section or strip layed out exactly like GTA3, same buildings and everything (obviously with next gen graphics). I mean both were based in Liberty City. I guess it would have thrown off the whole NYC theme though.

FYI, this was totally worth the $400+ dollars I spent. Absolutely awesome. Roman may be my favorite character ever.

In the end, i'm glad my 360 broke because now I have a PS3, which, imho, is better!

Grafx are a mix. At times its the usual GTA meh, but at times the lighting will hit a face just right, and your like 'damn'. Same with some of the buildings. I was riding in a cab, just takin' it all in, and was blown away by how some of the textures look photo-realistic.

When the strippers rub your package, the controller rumbles. Nice, lol. Fighting is great too. It's sluggish, but it makes the hits feel heavier and harder. I also prefer the heavier feel of the cars. They all drive alot differently. Haven't even touched multiplayer yet...but so far this game is a 10 in my book.

Oh yeah, I wish Bas Rutten (co-host of the TV show "The Mens Room") was a game character or someone I can meet later in the game. Dude is freaking hilarious...irl he's a UFC champ.

Just so Im sure, the other locations will open over time correct? Im starting to wonder if Im doing something wrong or neglecting to do something and thats why so many are not available yet. Right now I only have Darts, Bowling, 1 Pay 'n' Spray, Cabaret Club and the Russian shop, am I missing something? I keep seeing bars, pool halls, strip clubs etc but they arent on my map and so Im not sure if they become available once I get going further or if Im supposed to find them myself and once I do they will then be located on my map. In case it makes a difference it says Im currently only 6.83% through the game so that might be my answer right there.

These chase missions are kicking my butt all over the place. I'm stuck on "hung out to dry". Needless to say I'm frustrated I get so close to the objective then crash or skid off the road. "sigh"
