Well, it's official... I am hooked. It is 4:51 AM here in San Diego, and I haven't been off the machine since 8:30 last night. I rented this game at about 11:15 AM yesterday morning, and played from 11:30 till 5:00. Then this next stint.

I need help.

I'm going to sleep for two hours, then have classes, then I'm going to sleep again. Hopefully, if anyone wants to go around 4:00 PM Pacific (7:00 Eastern), I should be good.

Holy ****,this is not a joke,

So on my way home from work at 10:30Pm I was walking to the bus stop. I walk around a corner and wham......some guy decks me in the face. Straight up sucker punch.

I didn't go down, was dazed and got another one in the face from somebody else. Looked up finally and there are 5-8 drunk teenagers maybe 16-18 I then realize I'm nowhere near hurt after 2 clean shots to the head, I should kick their ***. Still not entirely understanding whats going on I then think two things. Knifes and numbers. I am 30 years old and can lift 150 pounds over my head no problem, unless they were drunken martial artists no two of them stood a chance. They were all drunk but.....8 of them and a single knife could have ended really bad for me. They then told me to give them my bag, with my brand new Taiko DS 2 ,DS covered in awesome stickers.. They had crossed the line

After thinking about all of that over a single millisecond I grabbed the smallest kid and straight up stuck a screwdriver (the only thing in my pocket) into his thigh. Threw him down and kicked him in the head and yelled "alright, you can all kick my ***, but which one of YOU IS (no question) losing an eye" At that point they took off, but slower than I figured.

It gets better. I call the Cops because I want to report it as this area is never patrolled and has a serious crime problem all ready. They did a great job showing up and did everything right. As they are taking information half of the kids wander by on the other side of the street! IDIOTS! Immediately I see the one I'm sure punched me first and they grab all of them. The kids claim I assaulted them and was high on drugs ( they are drunk ) Cops laugh at them (literally, it was sweet) and book them all for various reasons,(missing person, prior record)

In a way I really wish I could have gone one on one with that little bastard. For years I've wanted to see how well I can hang. Considering everything I am alive with a few bruises so I guess its all good. Haven't been in a fight in 10 years, good to know I can take a few to the chops even if they were pathetic.

I feel horrible today, these kids didn't do **** because of GTA. Where the f*** are their parents and what the hell did they do wrong. What is there for kids to do nowadays that are poor. Seems like everything costs alot to do anymore. America's youth need help, and banning video games won't stop this.

Doesn't work on ps3 I tried all the bumpers...........l1 or l2 plus triangle on ps3 all you do is still steal the cab

I did the exact same thing. Looked great. Was a blast playing online last night. Cops and Robbers was fun as heck.

This game is amazing. The details in the city are beyond comprehension if you just walk around and look at whats goin on. What makes this game different, is they are setting you p to care about Niko, to take an interest in him, not just run around and annihilate everyone (although that is still awesome).

Glad the driving is different, i dont like being able to stop on a dime, and now this time, you cant! Of course, this means any car im in only lasts about 2-3 blocks before its totalled.

Running with Niko is fun, i like how they re-did the physics of him leaning into corners and such.

If anyone gets online for PS3 today (after 5 PM EST), LET ME KNOW!!!!!!!! I tried a few games yesterday, but apparently PSN was having a hard time. Dont forget to invite me into game.

So far i give it a solid 9/10, but im still in the tutorial missions.

Dont know about anyone else, but im also a HUGE fan of the new wanted system. I think its a well done upgrade

For you guys asking about hailing a cab, you can't do it until you pass a certain mission later on in the game. Then, on the 360, it's the LB button when you see one.

Hey taternuts, what are the "tutorial missions"? I don't know, but I may be doing them. I just finished "Bleed Out". Is that a tutorial mission?

I think he just means the early missions that teach you how to play the game as you move the story along. It's not technically called a tutorial but that's really what it is...getting you to do stuff just so you'll know how to do it later on.

They teach you SixAxis controls.

Thats right, sorry if i was mis-leading. They are the first few missions where they have the popups that tell you how to drive, how to fight, how to dodge and other things. Its like most GTA games, they give you a slow taste for it early on so they dont overwhlem you.

Hailing a cab on PS3 is L1 to whistle, but its not available right away (not sure when it is, but i got it to work). I feel like fighting is a bit more challenging, but realistic as i was getting my butt handed to me by a bum till i locked on him. Lets just say i stole his sign and now I will work for food, not him, or so the sign says.

Shooting was a blast, love the free aim. Some lady called me a dorkwad or something like that as i walked by, so i walked towards her, pulled out the gun and lit her face up. You dont talk that kind of junk to Taternuts.

I am so far behind on all the missions. I spent too much time just wandering around, driving, and killing people.

Yea, i get caught walking around alot and then realize "Crap, there is a storyline", but its so much fun to just explore right now.
